The Ryokan was affordable and in a fantastic location. They had a Geisha show one of the nights we were there included in the price. No extra charge and it was amazing. A highlight of our trip. …

The location is perfect. It is right next to Yasaka Shrine, and you can also walk to Cheongsu Temple. The rooms are very beautiful and clean with tatami mats. They are very friendly so there is no inconvenience, and snacks are often prepared.I will stay here again when I come back to Kyoto. If you are lucky, you may be able to see a free maiko performance.

The accommodation was really nice. I went there with my family, and the next time I come to Kyoto with my husband and children, I plan to come here again. The location is good and the surroundings are quiet, so it is quiet and secluded. The room was also larger and cleaner than expected. They cleaned it every day, gave us snacks twice a day, and the owner couple was especially friendly. Every time I went out or came back, two gentle retrievers came out to greet me, and luckily I got to see a free performance during my stay. It was very comfortable and nice throughout my 3 night stay.

Unbeatable Ryokan. Perfect location, friendly staff, very large room with tatami mats. Sadly, no breakfast or dinner options, but free fruit and snacks, and help to book local authentic Kaiseki meal. Bathroom slightly dated and worn but not at all a deal breaker. Very quiet too and comfortable beds with a good night sleep. Highly recommended
