The room was comfortable, clean and well laid out. The staff were also friendly and helpful during our stay. Also, the breakfast offered at the hotel was exceptional. Will certainly visit again when in Kyoto in the future.

I visited during my trip to Kyoto. Isn't the price reasonable for nearby hotels? Even so, the price for one person is around 20,000 yen. It's close to Nijo Castle, so if you're looking for sightseeing, this is the place to go.

Very clean, well-kept hotel. A large room (by Japanese standards), clean, with comfortable beds, a fridge and even a capsule machine, which were refilled by the staff. The room was cleaned during my 2-day stay, which I think is a big plus. The bathroom is very clean, equipped with toiletries and free cosmetics. The breakfast buffet was very tasty and the staff was very polite. Near the hotel there is a large market and several restaurants where you can taste local specialties.

Good hotel, conveniently located. Breakfast is quite good with a lot of choices. Nice spa, mostly clean rooms. They offer free coffee, tea and water in the lobby, which is nice. However, especially for the water, they provide plastic cups, which are used once and then instantly thrown away. That's an insane amount of garbage that could be avoided easily.

Perhaps it was built in anticipation of inbound demand, as the perfume in the lobby, room facilities, and amenities all have the feel of a Western hotel. It feels like the opposite of Kyoto's culture, but it's modern and clean, which is fine.As mentioned in other comments, having a glass bathroom is probably difficult for Japanese people to accept. Blindfolds are available as a free option, but quantities are limited. There are connecting rooms, so even a large family can use it as if it were one room. There isn't much storage space, making it difficult to find a place to store luggage and personal items, but considering the price, is it a reasonable place?Breakfast is buffet style, but you will be assigned a seat even if it is empty. I want you to do whatever you want with this area. I think the quality of the food is good considering the accommodation fee. There is a coin parking lot under the railway overpass in the back, and it is usually empty. I remember that they were affiliated with the train and could park there cheaply. It's too difficult to sightsee in Kyoto in midsummer by public transportation, so I'm grateful for cheap parking. It's more convenient for people traveling by car, but it's relatively cheap overall despite being located in central Kyoto. The reception at the front desk was also good.Although it was my mistake, it was very helpful that they immediately called me on my cell phone to let me know if I had forgotten something. If I ever go to Kyoto again, I would list it as one of my accommodation options.
