Unlike most people, I am commenting as a staff member XDI started working and staying in this hotel in December last year, and I left after Kyoto’s cherry blossom season ended in mid-April. Manager Emiko is very warm and polite to others, and she takes a lot of care of her daily life. Other staff in the hotel are also very enthusiastic and can communicate in English. I believe tourists who have been here can agree with this. The biggest advantage of this youth hostel is that it is very conveniently located, about a 5-minute walk from Kyoto Station. Lopia, Yodobashi, Don Quixote are also within walking distance, and you can even see Higashi Honganji Temple when you walk out of the alley. Also because it is located in an alley, the sound of traffic on the road is not too disturbing. There are also many buses nearby, making it very convenient to visit famous attractions such as Kiyomizu Temple and Heian Shrine. There are kitchen utensils and sugar, salt, and oil available for use in the public space. Those who want to cook their own food can also go to Lopia to buy and cook it back. It is very suitable for travelers who plan to stay in Kyoto for many days. However, there is no elevator in the hotel. If you are carrying large luggage, the staff will help you move the luggage upstairs.Room types include individual rooms and dormitory beds. If it is a private room, the room includes Japanese-style tatami mats and a private bathroom, and you need to lay your own sheets. Dormitory beds only have one of bunk beds, and you must share the room, bathroom and toilet with other people. Although the room is not big, I promise it is very clean. I clean it carefully every day XD.Since the epidemic is over, I believe that more and more people will come to Japan to travel or take working vacations like me. Kyoto Hana Hostel is great whether it is a short stay for tourism or living and working here. In addition, since Kyoto Hana Hostel is one of the youth hostels of the J-Hopper Group, it is also very convenient if you want to find a part-time job in the Kansai area (Biwa Lake, Osaka, Hiroshima).Recommended to everyone who wants to stay or change accommodation in Kyoto~
