Well suited for tourists, everything is translated and the staff speaks very good English. We were welcomed well. Easy check in and out. Large room. Very clean. Trash bins emptied daily, which was appreciated in Japan. Towels changed daily. Washing machines in good condition, easy to use. Safe area. Fast wifi in the room. Grocery store right next door. Free teas and alcohol at the entrance. Blackout curtains, we slept well. Big shower, amazing. Bottled water offered as rewards for eco-friendly behavior. Several western options at the morning buffet, it was excellent. We loved the little sofa in front of the window to have our tea in the morning. Several Japanese channels on TV. Space for hanging laundry. Fridge. Our stay was perfect, our favorite hotel during our trip to Japan.

Every hotel I’ve been at besides this one, has refilled our towels daily, given us each a free water bottle daily, and cleaned up our trash. Here, they didn’t do any of that, AND on top the room was so small. The only positive of this hotel is they give you a shuttle bus to the Bamboo forest and golden pavilion. I’d rather have stayed elsewhere and traveled to the locations. I wouldn’t suggest staying here to anybody I care about.
