The price is high class accommodationPerhaps because there is a thermal pool, I saw some small families.It's fine if you have children, but I want everyone staying there to have a comfortable time.I can't help but feel disappointed with the vague impression.The food was delicious and the hot springs were nice.We got a room with an open air, but there are guest rooms on the 3rd and 4th floors, and we stayed in a room on the 3rd floor.I could hear voices in the hallway, and I wondered if the people on the upper floors were with children. It was noisy until 9:48pm.footsteps? A noise? I keep hearing a thumping soundAnd now at 22:20, I can hear footsteps.The concept of the inn is ``Toto'', but it is not at all.I'm so sorry, I came here to be healed.The rooms are natural and the amenities are plastic-free, but if they don't have combs in the public bath, I would have liked an explanation.The good points will also be gone.

Our experience here was horrible. The team ignored all our questions and requests and never read our emails to them which were multiple and sent weeks in advance.They didn't really care to find proper solutions to their own mistakes.When it came to Check in, Breakfast, and Checkout they deserve 0 stars.Check their calculations before you make your payment as we were overcharged.I would never recommend them nor stay there againThey don't even check or reply to their reviews so their focus is definitely not on the customer experience.

Visited on September 10, 2024There is also a shuttle bus from Gora Station, which requires reservations.I walked from the bus stop to the hotel, which took about 15 minutes, but the road was steep and quite rugged, and the taxi driver said there might be animals, so walking is not recommended.I think it would be better to go by private car or taxi.I booked a room with an open-air bath, but the hot springs flow directly from the source, so you can enjoy the hot springs here even if you don't go to a hot spring in Hakone.There is also a large public bath.There is also a private pool and dog run, so you can enjoy the whole day.I didn't have dinner or breakfast, but it seemed like they were using local specialties and were very particular about the ingredients.

Terrible customer support weighted down what should have been one of the highlight stays of our honeymoon. For the cost of a stay, you expect at least decent service and a responsive team. Instead, you get excuses and inability to solve problems effectively.The front desk and customer support team did not read any of our emails. We contacted on multiple occasions starting in August regarding booking dinner and shuttle bus and were all ignored. It doesn't matter if it's a technical issue or not, we're in 2024 if you're unable to respond to emails, don't offer that option. I had to spend 20 euros on international phone calls the hotel as they ignored 2x my messages via hotels.com and 1x via their own website. Not last minute messages either, the last attempt I had was 2 days before our booking. When the line cut out because my 20 euros of phone credit ended no one called me back. Exactly when I was confirming a 7:45pm dinner reservation. After I added extra money to my sim and call AGAIN they then said the restaurant was full. You could have either said it immediately or call me back when the line cut to tell me. Not to mention the fact that if they would not ignore my contacts, we would certainly be able to have a table.We were also unable to book the shuttle online because the system didn't accept our international phone number. Again, wouldn't be an issue if they'd respond to the emails.Once we arrived at the hotel by taxi we were told again, no space would be available at the restaurant and they advised we eat outside the hotel. If you know the area, most places either close early or are difficult to get to if you don't drive. Most people opt to eat in their hotels and enjoy the amenities around. If they had read our email they would have known it was our honeymoon and we were planning on spending the entire time at nol. We were then told they would be able to order food from outside for us and they recommended burgers. The whole point of us choosing nol was having fresh revitalising food grown in your garden and handmade. I'm also vegetarian and made sure to get in touch ahead of time because it is difficult to find meals sometimes. The offer of the burgers was ridiculous and the only reason we agreed to it is because we were starving at that stage and they had a veggie burger. Of course, not a courtesy reimbursement or anything as such was offered for this either.Breakfast was disappointing for both of us, vegetarian dish non-cohesive or made any sense. My wife's egg order was also messed up.At checkout we were overcharged for tokens. We were only refunded the sum because we spotted it and notified the team about the error after the payment was made. The full sum that had already been paid was refunded and we were requested to make the adjusted full payment again. I don't know if you can imagine how inconvenient that can after spending so much money on bad service. It was just the last tipping point.I had to convert more money to cover 56000 Yen because the front desk couldn't just refund the 2400 yen separately. I was not even notified that the full sum was going to be refunded. If they had notified me I would've refused it because I know card payments can take days to return if not claimed.After our checkout we tried multiple times to fill out their internal survey, also with no luck and just an error message of survey not being sent without any specifics. While no details were left unfilled either.Long story short, we got better customer support from Japanese hotels we paid 1/4 of the price as for this stay. You can't ignore guest emails in 2024 and you 100% have to be prepared for better complaint resolution or at least ensure the resolution is appropriate to the needs and situation of your guests. I would not stay at this hotel again, that's for sure. Rooms and amenities are not everything, customer support is just as important and can greatly impact the physical and mental comfort of your guests. Unfortunately the way you dealt with us took a toll on our stay and the reason for th star.

The staff is lovely and the rooms / facilities are very luxurious! Definitely a very nice stay and would love to come again with my partner. Worth noting that you may need to book the restaurant before arrival.

Melon for dessert.Breakfast: buffet styleAs shown in the image, with a wide variety of variations.Onsen eggs are a simple delight.Each small bowl is of high quality◎

Wow. Absolutely loved this hotel and the onsen that came with it. The staff were fantastic and were so accomodating also - and responsive with our questions beforehand. The complimentary shuttle from Gora station (you have to go around then under the walkway to the meeting point) was so helpful!! We took some convenience store snacks bought beforehand for dinner as we hadn’t pre-booked the on-site restaurant but that was no trouble as didn’t want to leave the room! Unfortunately there was a typhoon but the grounds looked lovely to walk around and explore - they even have lanterns for you to take on a night stroll. Thank you so much!

nol hakone reopened in May 2024myoujinndai is located in an area lined with villas. The exterior of the building gives off a sense of history, but the interior has been renovated with a modern and chic interior, and the lobby has a very relaxing atmosphere. The guest room was a modern Japanese-Western style room, perfect for relaxing.Vegetables were grown in the garden, which you could freely walk around. This vegetable seems to be served for dinner or breakfast. I felt it was wonderful. It was also nice that the souvenir corner had souvenirs representing Hakone.Free drinks such as coffee, herbal tea, and carbonated water were available in the lobby, and I was able to drink them freely from the tumblers in my room, which was nice. I felt that being able to take this tumbler home with me after my stay was a good service.Dinner is an Italian course meal. Starting with salads that you can assemble yourself, there was an array of very delicious dishes made with ingredients from the Hakone area. You can choose the main dish or dolce to suit your taste. The amount was not that large, so even women didn't feel like it was too much.For breakfast, you can choose on the spot whether it's Western food, a set with mainly eggs or a set with mainly pancakes. Homemade smoothies were also available and were delicious.The hot spring water is clear, colorless, and refreshing. There was an indoor bath and an open-air bath, but since the hotel only has a small number of rooms, the hot springs were never crowded, so I was able to enjoy the hot springs in a relaxed manner.The staff was very responsive and I had a comfortable stay. I felt very at ease as they called me in advance to confirm if I had any food allergies.The only thing that bothered me was that the room was a little dusty. The windows only open about 10cm, so the air probably isn't exchanged during cleaning.

Sunday, August 18th We are currently staying with 2 adults and are writing a review.Overall it's a strange hotel.I feel like it's a bit pricey for the price.On top of that, there were babies who looked like they weren't diapered in the pool, and it wasn't an atmosphere that adults could enjoy.The precautions for using the pool said that children without diapers were not allowed, and I looked at the photos on the website, so I went there with high expectations, but there were a lot of babies there both in the evening and at night.I think it's okay for parents to let their 1.2 year old infants play without diapers.I would like the hotel to take some action, such as being careful when checking in, patrolling the area, or putting up a big sign.I don't think I'm going to have fun even if I have to be careful about infants that the warning says not to do.I didn't expect there to be so many unfriendly customers, such as parents and children who keep jumping in like idiots.There are no regular drinks in the lounge, which advertises free flow.There was no tea or juice, just some strange black tea and nothing to drink.The sink in the lounge is so dirty that I don't feel like using it. The dirt is amazing.When I opened the curtains on the windows in my room, I found that the window glass was too dirty, there were too many spider webs, and there were too many dead small insects, so the room was a little weird.Dinner time is also too long.There is too much space between each item.I was tired of waiting.And the content is too boring.I don't think it's worth the price.Especially the first buffet is terrible. There isn't much variety, there aren't many dishes, and it's a buffet...Also, the salad dressing wasn't tasty at all, and it was a waste of time.Tomorrow I'll have an unexpected breakfast and then head home as soon as possible.
