Great hotel, great location and great service. What more can you ask for really. the rooms are nice and cosy, we had 3 people in one room and were fine. The service is excellent and the location is right on a main strip in Kyoto. The only down side is that there is no airport in Kyoto, you will need to fly into Osaka and take 3 trains (¥2,000) roughly to get here, but again the train station is 2 minutes away. I highly recommend you visit if you can.

Great hotel overall! The location is great, at the heart of the nishiki market. The breakfast is varied and tasty and the hotel staff is kind. The room is a little small and crowded and we didn't have enough space to open 2 suitcased but I guess it is normal for Japan. The shower is big and great though. Two thing i wish they were better:There are only 2 paid washing machine for the entire hotel and they are always occupied. Also, the elevator always require to use the room card which is also a bit annoying.

The hotel (amenity spaces and check in area, etc) itself is quite nice and the location is okay. It is located next to a main street with shops but after staying for a few days, there are quite a few hotels we noticed closer to what we wanted to do. Our main gripe is the rooms were not well cleaned. We found previous guests’ hair in the bathroom and several surfaces uncleaned. Rooms are quite small so make sure to review the size.

Amazing hotel in a fantastic part of Kyoto. The Bach theme isn't just a name either with classical.music permeating all areas of the hotel. Rooms were spacious (Japan standard) with large comfortable beds.

This is my second visit to Kyoto, but it's my first time staying at this hotel. While the Japanese are typically recognized for their politeness and friendliness, I was taken aback by the unhelpful, unprofessional, and rude behavior of the hotel manager. Our experience here has been very stressful and unpleasant, it's honestly the worst stay we've had throughout our travels.

Fantastic location! We loved our stay and though the rooms are quite small especially the bathroom they do make up for it with little perks in the service such as everyday housekeeping, amenities in the room (full sized toiletries, brush, shaver, toothbrush and toothpaste, slippers, pyjamas and bottled water), free food (rice, veg and soup) and drinks (coffee, tea, juice) at certain times of the day (their free coffee tasted even better than some cafes we went to!) and kind staff. We absolutely loved our stay here. The best part really is value for money because of your proximity to restaurants, shopping and even some attractions I would say it was a good choice. I also like that we were able to do our laundry here as we stayed for 9 days, and that there’s a vending machine just outside the laundry place to sip on something whilst waiting for your clothes to finish. Lastly the showers have nice nozzles that massage your body with water 💧 great after long days sightseeing.

Great location, near train station and walking distance to Gion. Hotel provides all the amenities. Also a humidifier available and has daily room cleaning. The only down side is that the room is very small. Otherwise, perfect!
