Booked all 6 rooms for a large group and had the whole building to ourselves. We were pleasantly surprised to find complimentary ice cream in the lobby freezer. The lemon ice cream was ok. The lemon flavor was a little too artificial. The rooms were a good size and were a nice space to relax in especially after a long day and a pretty mediocre lemon ice cream. One downside is that the hotel is unable to receive forwarded luggage. Luckily there are nearby Yamato offices that you can send your luggage to. On the way, stop by Chi Chi to get a soft serve to take the flavor of lemon ice cream out of your mouth.

This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in. There are free snacks, coffee, and ice cream in the lobby. The password lock method is very friendly to travelers, as there is no need to find the room card before entering the room.

Next time I go to Kyoto again, this is the accommodation I will consider first. I made a reservation through Agoda, and when I made the reservation, they sent me an online check-in address, which I must do. Location is good. It's close to the subway station, bus stop, shopping street, and downtown area with many good restaurants, and there's a fairly large supermarket right next to it. I bought fruit, meat, simple cooking items, milk, eggs, etc. from the supermarket and cooked there. Induction cooker with 1 burner in the room? There is an oven/microwave, electric kettle, refrigerator, and washing machine (detergent included). There is no staff stationed at the reception, but during our 4 days and 3 nights, they were there all morning and afternoon for 2 days and even helped us make taxi reservations. You are really kind. Umbrellas were provided for use on rainy days, and ice cream, bread, soup, and coffee capsules were also available in the refrigerator for breakfast. The largest room was used by 3 people, and it had 2 spacious beds and the tatami room was large enough for 2 people to comfortably use it. If you close the tatami room door, you can use it privately. There is a separate air conditioner and heater installed. Additionally, there is a radiator and humidifier. It was very clean and was fully stocked with amenities such as towels, coffee, and tea so that we would not run out of money during our 3-night stay. The only thing that was slightly uncomfortable was that the lighting was a little dark. And the PDF file sent in the notice is not updated. The nearby convenience store listed there was closed, and the shared bicycle in the basement was a different app. During the 4 days and 3 nights I stayed there, I felt comfortable like at home and didn't need anything.

This is the best accommodationStylish furniture, like a MUJI showroom,It's bigger than the picture, and both the toilet and bathtub are spacious and clean. The location is within a 7-8 minute walk from the Kawaramachi Station shopping street, and there is a supermarket in the building right next to the accommodation, so it's great for buying last-day gifts!(There is a Michelin ramen restaurant within 3 minutes of the accommodation, I highly recommend it)Cooking is also possibleNext time, I definitely want to come back with my child~!

I will write down what I learned on this trip.First, when you book this hotel, you will receive an email with instructions for pre-registration 3 days in advance. All guests' information, such as address and name, must be written there in advance. Even if you are a family member, it will not be 100% accurate unless you fill in detailed information such as address and name for everyone. Please note that if you do not check in in advance, you will not be able to enter through the entrance. Because I had overlooked this delivery email, I was unable to check in in advance and was unable to enter. Fortunately, there was someone from the hotel there (although they said it was unattended), so I was able to open it from the inside and completed the check-in procedure using my smartphone in the lobby. The room also had a pin number key, so we had the hotel staff open it for us. About an hour later, I received the entrance and room passkeys. As such, advance check-in must be confirmed.Check-out time at this hotel is 10am, but if you call us for inquiries, you can extend your check-out until 11am for 1000 yen. You will receive a text message on your smartphone and can pay electronically. However, even after making the payment, you will receive a notification email telling you to check out at 10am, so it doesn't seem to be linked. An electronic receipt will be issued after you pay, so if anything happens, you can explain it, so I think it's okay.I travel a lot so I'm used to staying overnight, but since everything from check-in to check-out is unattended and all communication is done via smartphone, some people may be confused because it's different from a manned hotel. The four of us stayed in a suite, and the room had enough facilities and space and the children were happy. I don't have any complaints about the room, but some people may be concerned about the noise from the upper floors. The TV was large and it was nice to be able to watch Netflix. The location is not bad and there is a supermarket next door that is open until 10pm. Also, there are many bars nearby, and Teramachi is just a short walk away, so I think the location is good.I went by car this time, but please be careful as parking in the neighborhood is limited and expensive. We recommend that there is a parking lot called Boo Boo Park about 3 minutes walk away that costs around 1,000 yen during the day and 500 yen at night, so parking is available 24 hours a day for less than 2,500 yen. Also, there is gravel parking along the street of the hotel for 24 hours for 1,000 yen, but there are not many cars and I don't think you will be able to park there. The road is narrow, so we recommend parking at a nearby parking lot and walking to find a cheaper parking spot. There are many parking lots, but for some reason there is no sense of unity, so it is strange that there are both expensive and cheap parking lots. In addition, there are many people and many one-way streets, so searching while driving can be extremely time consuming and tiring. Finally, since it is unmanned, it is better to assume that there is basically no luggage storage before check-in or after check-out. It's more like leaving it behind than checking it in, so if you're worried, it's best to use a nearby coin locker or leave it in your car.You may be confused about a lot of things the first time, but I think once you stay there, you will be able to go smartly from the second time onwards.Personally, I think this is a good hotel that will continue to be a candidate for lodging in the future. Please note that this facility is not suitable for those looking for generous hospitality.

I stayed in a suite for 3 nights in the spring of 2022.Since there is not much information, I will write down what I feel instead of notes.■LocationThe street in front of the hotel is narrow and one-way, making it difficult to pass. There is no space for cars to park next to each other, so please be careful when getting in and out of a taxi. You can walk from the train station, but in case of rain, you will need an umbrella (there were several umbrellas available for rent at the entrance). We cannot store your luggage, but there are coin lockers at Karasuma Subway Station. It cost 700 yen for two 30L trunks. Easy to transfer to Shinkansen, Hankyu, etc.The supermarket right next door has good prices and quality, and is more useful than the convenience store. It was open until 10pm■EnvironmentThe walls, floor, and ceiling seemed a little thin. You can hear a certain amount of outdoor environmental sounds such as the sound of cars running and raindrops. Also, I was quite concerned about the noise from the people upstairs. If you are bringing children, it is better to take precautions such as not running around to avoid trouble. There were two rooms on the second floor where I stayed, and the next room was right in front of me when I left my room. Please take off your shoes at the entrance to the room. The disposable slippers provided are cheap, so we recommend bringing your own room shoes.Cleaning was a little sloppy. We found that cleaning was not done well in many places, such as shadows from furniture, window frames, filters on home appliances, etc.The room only had a small broom and dustpan, so I thought it would be useful to have a vacuum cleaner, flooring mop, rag, etc. during a long stay.■EquipmentThere is an elevator. There is a one-way exit on the basement floor, and you can access the first floor via a slope, so I think you can enter the room in a wheelchair if you have a caregiver (please check the size).Home appliances are equipped with expensive items and are sufficient. The TV is a 50-inch SHARP smart TV. Already subscribed to NetflixThe washing machine is a self-loading washer/dryer that comes pre-set with detergent and fabric softener. The only disappointment was that the refrigerator was small. A 1.5L plastic bottle can fit in a single bottle, but the capacity is too small to begin with. Please be especially careful as there are not many frozen items.Sleepwear is a one-piece top and bottom and comes in one size fits all. There was also an ironThe bath is 1 tsubo type and spacious, but additional cooking is not possible. There were large bottles of shampoo, but no bath salts. The variety of cooking utensils, tableware, and cutlery is limited, but a wide variety is available in the shared kitchen on the lobby floor. Apparently you can take it out from here (confirmed with the administrator)Also, there are no seasonings, oil, cloths, or paper, so please be careful if you are thinking of cooking your own meals. There are a few bottles of water, coffee, and tea available. There was no sugar or milkThere are two trash cans under the sink, but it was unclear how they were sorted. If I'm going to take the trouble to put it up, I'd like it to be displayed somewhere. All amenities are availableWhen it was refilled, it was hung on the doorknob at the entrance to the room. Only tissue paper was missing from the original, and there was no replacement or replenishment, so I would like you to take this into consideration. Also, there was no bath mat at first. The equipment list is not specified anywhere, so it is difficult to check. I felt that they should thoroughly check the installation after cleaning.■OthersThe entrance and room doors have electronic locks. There are no employees on site, so in case of an emergency, you will only be available by phone. Also, the person who helps me speaks broken Japanese. Not recommended for people who are not good with machines or who are used to generous hotels in Japan.that's all. I'll add more as soon as I rememberIt's still new so it covers a lot of ground, but I hope it will continue to be in good condition with maintenance. Also, I would like to include it as a candidate for accommodation when I stay in Kyoto for a long time.
