I was wandering around with my dog and there was a terrace seat in the front, so I was wondering if pets were allowed? Thank you very much for accepting me when I asked 🙇‍♀️I was using the cafe, but I was able to enjoy my coffee quietly and slowly.I took the chocolate scones and coffee beans home and ate them, and they were delicious.

A quiet cafe located in a corner of Miyagawa-cho.You can use the bar from noon on holidays.Although there are only a few types, I get the impression that the brands are carefully selected. It's a little off the tourist route, so you can spend a quiet time here.I found a good shop since it's an area I come to quite often. The upper floor seems to be a hotel that can be rented out.The reviews are for the hotel, but I haven't stayed there.

My family of five stayed here for 2 nights during Golden Week. It is not a renovated townhouse property, but is built with a steel frame, and the living room is open and spacious with an atrium. We paid particular attention to style, from electrical appliances to furniture and amenities. It was extremely convenient as it was close to tourist spots such as Gion, the downtown area, and Kiyomizu Temple. There is a separate building on the roof, so you can enjoy the privacy of a tea room. However, since there is a skylight, you can wake up early in the morning. I was late to check in, but the staff didn't make any negative faces and were very accommodating. Overall I'm satisfied, but I think it would be more convenient if the toilet was in the living room.

A hotel is available for rent in Miyagawa Town. There seemed to be a cafe and lounge in the front, so I went to have some tea. It's stylishly built, and the female staff makes coffee one cup at a time. The beans are blended by Ichikawa-san and Umamachi-san. My sister told me that even if the number of grams is the same, the depth of flavor will change depending on the amount of powder. As expected, the scent and richness are different! ️It was delicious!! ️You can have tea while looking at the garden. Recently, there have been more cafes in Gion, Kyoto☕️.

I have experienced Kyoto like never before!!!I had a chance to stay for 2 nights, and I simply wish that I stayed longer.First of all, the architecture is amazing. It looks like a usual Machiya (city house) style you'd expect to see anywhere in old part of Gion area, but the inside you get massive open space filled with natural lights. It is a great example of fine balance between modern and traditional. You'd get old school Hinoki bath tub next to stain-less rainfall shower. On the top of building you get tea room style space with tatami and terrace, equipped with air conditioning. All the elements of traditional Kyoto are there, but with the comfort of modern hotels. The space is really well thought out, in nearly OCD manner. I just cannot find a flaw. All amenities that you need and never thought you will need is in places where you'd just expect. Digital connectivity, network speed, kitchen equipments, cosmetics, auto lights, lounge wears, slippers...everything is simple, but very high-end products, which helps you to relax and make you feel like home in no seconds.Only thing I'd mention is the stairs. It is a 4 storey building without a lift. So I wouldn't recommend for a group with small kids or elderlies. If you have healthy legs, possibly travelling in group up to 6 people, and looking for somewhere to stay in Kyoto where you can live like a local, look no further.10/10 accomodation.
