It was a very satisfying stay! I think it's hard to get a reservation, but I'd like to stay there again.[Location]It was very convenient as it was just a few minutes walk from the station. It's in a very quiet location, so I was able to spend time with my friends calmly. Also, since it is located at the top of a slope (a slope that is good for exercise), you can see the whole of Kyoto, and you can also see Mt. Daimonji from the inn. The night view was especially beautiful! About a minute's walk away was Kaji (Awataguchi) Shrine, where fans of the game Touken Ranbu gather. Also, you can walk to see Nanzenji's illumination at night, which was great![Indoor]It was extremely clean. The building was made entirely of light-colored wood, so the room felt bright. I was very satisfied with the large washing area in the bath and the bathtub where I could stretch my legs as much as I could. The washroom is also large enough for three people to use it side by side. The dining room has floor heating, so it was comfortable in the morning and at night. The cutlery was also very well stocked. The TV had a subscription to Netflix, so I was able to enjoy watching it with my friends at night. There is no lock for the toilet, so you have to lock the lock attached to the washroom in the room in front of you, but I didn't find it particularly inconvenient. My bedroom is on the second floor, so I try my best to climb the stairs even though I'm sleepy.【others】There was a large umbrella to rent, which was a huge help for me personally! It had an automatic lock system, so even though I was the only girl staying there, I felt safe.

There's really no water.I couldn't soak in the bathtub, which I was so proud of, because I could barely squeeze out anything.Unable to wash hands after using the toiletAlso, terrestrial digital TV is not displayed. Even when I contacted them, there was no response regarding troublesome measures.

A hideaway in a quiet residential area in HigashiyamaIt's a mansion. The view of the cherry blossoms in full bloom from the room on the second floor was a sight to behold. The garden also had a variety of naturally maintained trees that soothed my soul.

This is my second time using it for two days and one night. The room was spacious and clean, the view was great, and I had a good night's sleep. For meals, we brought wine and enjoyed it as it was a short walk from a delicious Japanese restaurant in Gion. In the morning, we took a walk around the mountain lodge with a guide who is knowledgeable about Kyoto's history. It was a wonderful mountain villa where you can enjoy Kyoto to the fullest. I would like to use it again.

Sanjobo Sanso is cozy and easy to spend time in.The location is within walking distance from both Nanzenji and Chion-in to Gion. The room can be used freely and can be used like a villa. The latest televisions are available for everyone from adults to children to enjoy, from YouTube to various video sites. If you request a futon, you can stay with your family. Also, the futon feels great! The bath was also spacious and relaxing. This is a perfect inn for people who want to spend their time without worrying about being watched. There is no problem with eating food outside. In particular, the breakfast at Nanzenji Hyotei was amazing. I asked a volunteer guide for my morning walk and spent 2-3 hours exploring the history, and I was impressed by the depth of Kyoto.I would like to come back and explore Kyoto again and again. I would like to use it.

It's on the top of the hill. You can see Heian Shrine from your room.I thoroughly enjoyed the very quiet Kyoto. The rooms could be connected, so even a large family could enjoy it, and the futons were fluffier than a normal hotel, which was great.
