It was just introduced on TV news.Apparently they sell a steam sauna called Thermarium.I have a friend who lives in Ohara and I would like to visit there as well. However, it seems that it is limited to one group (up to 8 people) per day and costs 800,000 yen per night.

I was invited by Hachikan. An inn in Ohara that accommodates one group per day.The whole house can be rented and can accommodate up to 8 people.Surrounded by private houses and rice fields, this is an inn for adults where you can enjoy your stay without having to go out.The food is prepared by a former Kitcho chef.Food, alcohol, tea ceremony, sauna, and beauty salon are included in the price. The tea ceremony was made in the Yabuuchi style. The style seems to change depending on the day.The steamed buns are Japanese chestnut steamed buns made by the chef. There is red bean paste inside, which is soft and just the right amount of sweetness, so delicious that you'll want to have several of them. The saunas are a sauna where you can use rolyyu and a mist sauna. A mist sauna is a sauna that does not produce fog.

An old folk house lodging facility located in Ohara no Sato, Kyoto. A renovated mansion of a wealthy farmer built approximately 250 years ago. The main building is a place to eat and relax. The separate building is for lodging and spa facilities. The spa is equipped with a cypress bath, an open-air bath, a mist sauna, a high-temperature sauna, and a cold bath. Enjoy a relaxing experience with a massage included in your accommodation price. There is also a tea room where a teacher is always on hand, so you can experience an authentic tea ceremony.Breakfast and dinner meals are charged separately, and we offer authentic Kyoto cuisine, Western cuisine, Chinese cuisine, etc. according to your budget.Shuttle service available from Kokusaikaikan subway station.By consultation, it is possible to use only the main building and tea room for day use.
