This inn is run by a family. The information about the accommodation was very thorough, and unlike business hotels, the Japanese-style rooms were spacious and I was able to have a relaxing stay.Since our stay was on a weekday, we were the only group, so we took our time in the bath.My only regrets were that there was no hot water in the bathroom in the room and that the comforter was so short that I thought it was a child's size. Maybe the comforter was short because it was a hot season...The location would have been 5 stars if I had an unlimited bus/subway ticket. (Because I walked from the nearest Keihan Electric Railway)The breakfast was delicious with enough items to fill you up in the morning.I would like to stay with you again when I go to Kyoto again.

The new tatami room was very nice. The futon was very comfortable and I took a relaxing bath in the large bath. Nanzenji and Heian Shrine are also nearby, so we highly recommend it!

Even though I had made a last minute reservation, I was able to get it by chance. The location is convenient for sightseeing as it is on the upper and lower slopes.

This was once a high-class inn that was not open to first-time visitors. That atmosphere still remains everywhere today, but the one big difference is the owner's unique spirit. The stylish look in his eyes shines because he knows everything about travel. The threshold is as low as possible, and travelers are welcomed in a rich way.
