The response from the front desk was a bit strange...Wouldn't it be nice to be a little more affectionate? I thought...The room felt quite old, but I wonder if it's worth it considering the price...However, the staff's response during the meal was wonderful!I would like to tell you your name.So I thought the service would be expensive.

I was glad that I was able to get to know the taxi driver by saying ``Hotel Heian no Mori''.Everyone feels differently about having their clothes covered in disinfectant spray (disinfectant coming out of their heads), but I found it a bit disgusting.I was happy that it was cool when I entered the room. There is no water service, which is common in hotels. When I called the front desk, I felt that the response (how they spoke) was not warm. When I was sleeping, I woke up to the sound of water (was it the shower sound from another room? Was it the drain pipe?) This has only 1 star. It will not be reused unless soundproofing is done.

I had something to do at Miyako Messe, which is far from the station, but it was still too far to walk. However, the bus stop for the local bus was right next door, so the convenience was not bad.The building is very clean and the front desk staff is courteous. The rooms are very spacious and the beds are comfortable with slightly hard mats.Unfortunately, the refrigerator in the guest room is small and cannot be frozen, so I would like to store the souvenirs I bought. There is a large public bath, but you are not allowed to come and go in your pajamas, so you will need clothes to go to the bath, which is a big negative factor. There are few vending machine locations, and there is no drink service.Although we were repeatedly told that the hotel was not an inn, it seems that they have misunderstood the meaning of a hotel, and are destroying the comfortable and relaxing environment.I found the facility parking lot difficult to use, but there are many cheap coin parking lots nearby. There is a 24-hour supermarket and a 100 yen shop right in front of the building, which is convenient. The comfort of the large public bath is a big factor in choosing an inn, so it's a question of which one to use next.(I have no objections to other common areas, but I would like to wear casual clothes when going to the public bath, and if this area is improved, I would like to use it again.)

The facilities were old, but they were well kept. But these days, having just one outlet is hard.I hesitated to go outside because my loungewear was flimsy considering there was a large public bath, but I was told that I should refrain from going out in my loungewear. I'm glad I noticed it first...It was nice to have a Panasonic hair dryer in the public bath. As for skin care, they only sell lotion and emulsion, and makeup remover, so I would like to see this included in the service.Maybe it was a mistake, but I could hear the air conditioning and the sound of water dripping, and the bed was hard, so I couldn't sleep. However, considering the price, I guess it can't be helped.

Personally, the location is very convenient, and I have stayed several times so far for 2 or 3 nights to a week, but I have some doubts about the cleanliness of the guest room, and the bed board Dust often accumulates on desks and desks. Maybe it wasn't checked several days or weeks ago after cleaning and before serving it to guests. Also, although most of the employees are friendly and helpful, there is one person who seems to be in a bad mood and shows dissatisfaction on his face despite the most common requests and questions. There are people who are snared. This point is extremely disappointing.

It is being used for Takashi Murakami's "Mononoke Kyoto", which is being held at the Kyocera Museum of Art.The Kyocera Museum of Art is a 10-15 minute walk away, and other attractions within walking distance include Heian Shrine, Nanzenji Temple, and Eikando Temple. The hotel was quite large and had the feel of a large, old-fashioned hotel, not one of today's fashionable hotels, but it had a smoking room, which was a big plus for smokers like me, which was a big factor when choosing a hotel. Another big point is that there is a parking lot (1 night from 3 PM to 11 AM, ¥1000 on a first-come, first-served basis) and a large public bath (although it is not a hot spring). There didn't seem to be many restaurants around, but there was a 24-hour supermarket with a parking lot called Fresco diagonally across the street from the hotel, so it was very convenient. Since we didn't want to walk around deciding what to eat, we decided on a plan that included breakfast and dinner at a restaurant in the hotel (smoking double, ¥36,800 for 2 adults), but it included conger conger and meat, typical of summer in Kyoto. I was completely satisfied with the content. The next morning, I got up a little early and drove to Fushimi Inari, where I was able to visit the shrine while there were still few people, so I had a great trip. One thing to note is that the parking lot space is narrow, so be careful especially if you have a large vehicle.

◾️20240815 I stayed here for Gozan Okuribi. It's recommended because it's close to Higashiyama, the accommodation costs are low, and there's a large public bath.
