There is a lot of traffic outside, and the bed frame is very protruding. If you walk over it, your feet will be bumped. The rest is great.

How often do you walk into a vacation rental and wish you'd booked it for a month? This was one of those moments for us!We travel long-term but made a short side trip to Kanazawa this spring; booked for 4 nights and dreaded leaving. That's how comfortable and welcomed we felt. The owner Bill was incredibly helpful and responsive to literally every single question I asked. Highly recommend anyone visiting Kanazawa to book a stay here, especially if you’re looking for western comforts with a touch of Japanese tradition (at least that was the case on level 5!) — and hopefully you get to stay for longer than just a few days 😉💯 You’ll even see the perfect sunset from the rooftop terrace on a good day~

The room was spacious and clean, and I had a very comfortable stay.The kitchen had cooking utensils such as oil and soy sauce, as well as a rice cooker, so I was advised to cook some rice and eat it.There was also a washing machine and dryer, as well as laundry detergent.(There was no fabric softener, but it may have included fabric softener.)The refrigerator is stocked with water and carbonated water for free, and if you would like more, there is a shelf at the entrance of the hotel where you can take it with you. , cotton swabs, bandages, IH stoves, etc. were also provided.Unlike large hotels, there were only a limited number of rooms, and I didn't have to interact with people more than necessary, so I felt at ease.Unfortunately, I wasn't feeling well this time and couldn't go to the rooftop even though it was available.The handwritten message card I received when I entered the room was lovely, and Mr. Smith's smile was also very nice.Also, if I have a chance to go to Kanazawa someday, I would like to use it again.

The apartment we stayed in at W & M House was beautifully decorated, modern and spotlessly clean. It’s cozy, but really comfortable and equipped with anything you would need for a short or longer stay. There were many thoughtful touches like sparkling/still water in the fridge and rice for the rice cooker. We found Bill, the host, to be very friendly and informative about the Kanazawa area. We loved the elevator to each apartment and the rooftop deck. Also, there was a fantastic little Yakitori restaurant right next door. We just wish we could stay a little longer! 🥲

Very comfortable apartment and well located. Great to have car park and Bill provided warm welcome and directions for local shopping. Special to go to the roof with evening meal to watch sunset and lights of Kanazawa. Highly recommend staying here.

My fiancé and I stayed at W&M House for 4 weeks. It was a highly positive experience that felt very homely.Rooms - The Airbnb was very spacious: multiple rooms (bedroom, living room, kitchen, toilet room, bathroom and washer area), clean, comfortable with modern amenities and everything you could ask for out of a long term stay.Service - William (the host) is very approachable, caring and a very good chat!! William is very responsive regarding any questions or assistance and we enjoyed getting to know him. William goes above and beyond as there is a hub area on the first floor which contains various items for you to make use of. This includes various teas/coffees, bath salts, washing up liquid, toiletries and electronic equipment. This goes above and beyond and was appreciated by my fiancé and I.In addition, the WiFi is very fast, the TV has a clear picture and good sound, the kitchen has all you need (stove, microwave and grill etc.) and there are additional heaters for winter as well as 2 aircons.Location - The location is perfect! A 10 minute walk takes you to the city centre, a 30 minute walk takes you to the fish market and there is also a lovely park next to the Airbnb. Apita (giant supermarket) is a 2 minute walk away and there is a Lawson convenience store just across the road from Apita.Overall W&M House is a fantastic place to stay in. Kanazawa is a city I hold close to my heart and we both truly enjoyed our time in this accommodation. This was time and money well spent.
