We booked the so-called “Family Room” at 4J Lodge for 4 nights, paying a whopping €200. The room was nothing like what we expected. There was absolutely no natural light, making it feel like a prison cell. The bathroom was basically a dark, narrow corridor—completely unwelcoming and uncomfortable. It was impossible to feel good in this room, so we ended up leaving the hotel after just one night.To make matters worse, we requested a refund for the remaining 3 nights, but the hotel has completely ignored our messages. For the price we paid, you can find *much* better hotels in Bangkok. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place **ABSOLUTELY**. Experience - Avoid at All Costs!**

No elevator too n slopy stairs if you have big baggae then u r gone. We were given 5th floorNot worth the price they charge.. they have.2 location with same name and breakfast is bare minimal cereal n bread n tasteless coffee and that too will be served only after 8am, so it's obvious people would not like to start their day at 9 or 10 for sightseeing for a mere bread n cereal. Bedsheets had a smell though they looked clean. No seating area or such outside as the cafe closes night n then no human to communicate. I prefer the Bangkok canal hotel which was cheaper but much comfortable n people to communicate most time. But one lady who sits there is nice but she's employee with limitationsOverall not worth the time or price

We stayed at 4JLodge for 2 nights. Unfortunately our room was very small. Including the bathroom it was approx. 9m². We couldn't put the luggage down. Unfortunately there was no fitting in the shower, so we had to be very inventive to turn the shower on. The sink was in the room because unfortunately it no longer fit in the bathroom. Unfortunately there was no water pressure due to all the limescale and there was no proper light. Even though the WiFi was very good, the location not far from Kaohsan road and the staff were really nice, unfortunately the most basic things were missing for us.

This is a cozy hostel with a nice room and friendly staff. It is close to the centre of town. We stayed for 2 nights and we would stay again. It is clean, there is no noise and the room had an electric fan.

For the price you pay it is good, big beds but in our room the pipes smelled and the views were of cables. Breakfast was: two toasts with a little jam. It is very well located but if you want to check in or check out outside the hours stipulated by the apartment you have to pay a supplement.

Relatively small room, quite narrow but with what you need. Really warm welcome, we were allowed to leave our suitcases during the day.Good breakfast too and more than affordable. The setting is nice, there are small fish and swings.Quite narrow streets and little light, which was not very reassuring.We will probably come back!

Great location, only minutes away of walk from the Khao San Road! Room had a little bit different status then the photos but it was good enough. Only the bathroom ventilation or shall I say NO bathroom ventilation was creating a musty odour which is not quite possible to avoid. Staff was very kind and positive, thanks to all again.

Good room at a very good price.Put your food in a bag on a coat rack otherwise the ants will have a feast even if it's not open.The cleaning is very well done and top to bottomThe young waitress is really very nice, helpful, smiling and beautiful ^^The TV didn't workDirect intervention when we had a problem with the doorLunch is not great (powdered coffee, orange juice which needs so much water to drink because it is so sweet) but for the price of the room, it's okay))There is no storage so it is problematic when you stay for a long timeThe bed is hard and we had a duvet for a small bed even though there were 2 of us 😅Otherwise everything else is fine))

i will give 2 stars because. the check in was confuse and they give me the wrong room. the entrance its weird. the thing that hold the shower part was broken so i had to hold it for shower myself. the blanket was quite small and in the rooms they had a weird smell. the staff was helpful but i think they need more experience people to supervise the place.

Lovely place to stay, highly recommend❣️ This lodge is cute, cosy and comfortable. Ken was very friendly and helpful. Located walking distance from the bus stand, not far from sights and good restaurants nearby, nice area to stay in and walk around. Wonderful experience overall 😊💯

We stayed 3 days in this hostel. Before arriving we were not sure about the quality because we were scared by the bad reviews, but in the end everything worked very well: the room was clean, we had air conditioning, a fan, toiletries (shampoo, soap, paper) and breakfast included (you can order at the restaurant which is just downstairs and is served between 7am and 10am). The people who worked there were super friendly and there was a guy who spoke English very well. The hostel is not located right in the center, but it is within a very walking distance. Furthermore, in the neighborhood you will find everything you need: there are several ATMs, laundromats, supermarkets and many restaurants at good prices. The only "bad" thing is that the water machine (which is on the second floor) only delivered boiling water and not cold. Ultimately, we would stay here again :)

I'm going them 5 stars because it's in an great neighborhood and the staff are amazing. I would stay there again, and you should give them a try. There's a great restaurant attached to the hotel.
