Prince Hotels differ in quality depending on the hotel, so Kioicho was sold first, followed by Hakone and Karuizawa, which have the ``The'' in them, but I think this hotel is so good among the Prince Hotels that it even deserves the ``The'' in it.I think people have different needs when it comes to staying at a hotel, but I fell in love with Kamakura Prince Hotel.Tokyo Prince was said to be the most prestigious of the Princes, but I was disappointed that the service at Tokyo Prince has been declining recently.I think the status of a hotel is determined not by its facilities or the deliciousness of its food, but by the service and personality of its staff. I thought that the service of the staff at this hotel was as good as a foreign five-star hotel.I used this hotel this time and thought the breakfast here was the best among the Prince Hotels. When staying, it is best to choose a room on the 4th floor. This time I stayed on the third floor, but I couldn't see the sea clearly because of the trees. There are great sea views from the main restaurant. The view during the day is nice, but the sunset is truly spectacular. If you are driving to the hotel, it may be difficult to know where to turn right from the coastal road. All the staff are very smart and kind. Some of the staff members had seen us at places like Naeba Prince in the winter.Actually, I have refrained from using this hotel in the past due to bad experiences. After using it this time, I wanted to come again.

Bad experience. The room has weird odor. The equipments are really old. The location is a bit away from the station. Btw we asked for the breakfast time was from 7-10, the reception did not tell us last enter time was 9.30. Indifferent service attitude, did not feel welcomed at all. Overpriced and low quality. Stay away.

If the weather in Shichirigahama is good, you can see Mt. Fuji, which is truly the best location for Prince. …

There's a shuttle from the station, but it's also close enough that you can walk. The walk is not bad either as you can see the enoden passing right next to you. If you're into trains, the railway crossing makes for a good picture.I got a bit annoyed by their pricing. Even if you book a room with them you'll have to pay 1000jpy per person per day to use the pool, and 1500jpy per hour for the umbrella, or 3500jpy for half a day.

I made a reservation to enjoy the hotel's pool, but the man at the front desk, who was in his 50s, had a low voice, didn't straighten his back and was leaning on the table, and the check-in seemed like a hassle from beginning to end.I was surprised, but I headed for the pool thinking I could enjoy it after this, but the pool ended last week. HP had no such guidance. With that feeling, there was no point in staying here anymore, so I decided to check out after about 30 minutes. All of the female staff were very supportive of us until we checked out.Based on the years of establishment and name valueLooks great but the service is poor. That's the impression I got.

This is a very old-fashioned hotel and not in good way. It has a lot of extremely annoying rules and regulations. …

Used the pool plan to celebrate my wife's birthday.Previously, Prince Hotels had the feel of a business hotel, but Kamakura Prince seems to have changed its route, including the price, and the comfort of the bed, amenities, hair dryer, etc. have been revised (you can ask for a shave at the front desk). You can get it if you say it).The price of breakfast has also increased, but the breakfast has been changed from the previous all-you-can-eat buffet style, which was hurried and resulted in a lot of food waste, to a freshly prepared breakfast with a choice of two types, but beautifully presented. When you eat it, it's surprisingly filling, so it's better to think about adding bread or rice balls that you can eat freely after you've finished eating. However, if you have onion soup, please try it. It's delicious and full of onions.I'll visit you again.

Message to management: recruit staff who speak English at reception, it’s 2024! When are you going to have a buffet in the morning like in 90% of hotels?? We were at the Prince in Tokyo: extremely professional and qualified. What a disappointment to have come to the same brand in Kamakura and for double the price. We are no longer in the 70s, modernize!!
