Great location and accommodation EXCEPT…the hotel was ready to charge us 1,000 Yen for a missing keycard. What year is this????? Great place to stay, if you don’t intend on losing a key card.

Stayed here in September for 2 nights. Staff here are welcoming & accommodating. Rooms are clean, cozy & quiet, bathroom is spacious, bed is comfy. WiFi is strong. Onsite restaurant. Location of the hotel is great, walkable to all the sights & attractions, shops & restaurants. Minutes walk to Omicho Market, 15 min walk to the geisha district, 30 min walk to Kanazawa station. The hotel offers Japanese breakfast buffet for an additional fee (1,700¥ per pax) which was perfect & varied, nutritiously balanced, with plentiful options - kept us full all day so definitely recommend getting it. Breakfast gets busy right at 7:00am so come on time, come hungry! Restaurants close early in Kanazawa so best to eat dinner by 8:00pm. Lawsons, Family Mart & 7/11 down the block. Nice atmosphere at the hotel & its surroundings - can definitely recommend for a few nights stay!

It is a hotel with an elegant image. The room is clean, the bed is big, and it feels nice. However, the distance from Kanazawa Station is a little strange. It's hard to walk with big luggage, and on the other hand, it's not as good as taking the bus, so you might get lost. Still, I think it's overpriced, so I think it's a good idea to stay there once.[Additional] I stayed in a double room this time, and the bed felt very nice. Also, breakfast was mainly Western food at an Italian restaurant, but there was no Kanazawa curry, which was disappointing. Also, the only citrus juice available was grapefruit juice, which I couldn't drink as I was taking medication for high blood pressure. Unfortunately, there was no orange juice. That being said, the breakfast was somehow unsatisfying. Please note that there are individual differences.

First time using it in Kanazawa. The location is close to Omicho Market and within walking distance of Kanazawa Station and Oyama Shrine. Before checking in, I took a long detour from Kanazawa Station to Oyama Shrine under the scorching sun using Google Navigation, so I was feeling unsteady and it was pouring down at night, so I ended up staying at the hotel. It was also nice that the room was cleaned properly and I could stretch out my legs in the bathtub. There were also two sets of bath towels, so I didn't have to use half-dry towels as soon as I arrived and woke up.The lobby is also quiet depending on the time of day, and you can enjoy coffee in a Kutani ware cup while sitting on the sofa. For breakfast, we had a choice of Japanese and Western options, and the Kanazawa oden, warm vegetables, and miso soup with lots of ingredients were also good. The chilled stick tea was also delicious. The location was good with designated parking.I realized the next morning that the pillows could be changed, so I wasn't able to borrow them, but next time! That's what it feels like. There are restaurants, M'za, and convenience stores around the hotel, so I thought I wouldn't have any trouble spending a few days there. It's quiet at night, but during the day it's a tourist destination and there are quite a lot of Japanese and foreigners.

I booked a soothing room, so when I entered the room, I was greeted by the pleasant scent of incense. It has a Japanese-style spicy scent that is different from aroma oil. I asked the front desk staff to store my luggage, went sightseeing in Kanazawa, and entered the hotel. There is coffee in the lobby, so I took a sip and calmed down. There were two types of pillows, so I chose the lower one. I changed into slippers and ate the lunch I had bought. It was a nice and relaxing room.
