There are not many hotels in Otaru, and I only temporarily booked this B&B through Booking.com - Address: Otaru 5-20 Aioichō, a quiet two-story simple B&B in an alley, contact us through the provided LINE: Ringo Asahi Password entry and exit, very close to the shopping avenue-Sakaicho Hondori, about 10 minutes' walk from JR Minami-Otaru Station. Hokkaido is extremely hot this summer. The shortcoming of the B&B is that it does not have air-conditioning and only provides electric fans! There are bathrooms on the upper and lower floors, and there is a shared kitchen and free washing machine on the 1st floor.

The room was good for the price and the location was good.Sakaimachi Dori is a 5-minute walk away.Accessibility is about 10 minutes on foot from Minami Otaru Station.Since check-in is online, it seems like the owner is not present.The photo shows a 4-person room.

Do you want to save maximum on housing costs during your trip to Otaru? I recommend Guest House RingoThe cost for a room of 4 people per night is about 8 sen yen. About 2 sen per person.Guest House Ringo has all the basic amenities and facilities for standard accommodation.The shared kitchen is convenient for cooking. There is a microwave as well as a refrigerator, boiling water kettle,...The bed is clean, there is also a power divider.The host family is very cute and friendly.

Japanese style guest house.The host is super friendly. She can speak fluently Japanese and Chinese also some english. Location is good, it's very close to Minami-Otaru station. It just takes about 10 min from station to guest house on foot. And also 15 min to otaru. Have a nice day in ringo, hope could come back again!Japanese-style old house architecture, tatami Japanese rooms, and bunk beds. The landlord is very friendly and talkative, and can speak Japanese, Chinese and English. It takes about 10 minutes to walk from Minami Otaru Station to the B&B, and about 15 minutes from the B&B to Otaru Station and Otaru Canal. The location is very convenient. I will come back if I have the opportunity!

Convenient transportation and close to classics. Get off at JR Minami-Otaru Station and walk for 7 minutes. It only takes 4-5 minutes to walk to Fairy Tale Cross Street.
