To be honest, the building is old, but it's conveniently located near the station, bus terminal and morning market, and the price is reasonable. It's enough just to sleep.

It was an inn with Dragon Ball and One Piece figures, cute self-illustrated neighborhood maps, toast and boiled eggs for breakfast, and the warmth of the people that made you want to wear it again. It had good access to the morning market, so I will definitely use it again when I come to Hakodate.

The year 1977 is written on the foundation stone, and although it is an old facility, there were no inconveniences.It's a family-run business with no front desk staff. People who are used to the services of new chain hotels may have a lot of complaints, but I strangely liked it.Breakfast was simple with toast and boiled eggs, but it was delicious in a quiet atmosphere. Another great feature is that you can adjust the pillow firmness to your preference so you can sleep soundly.The only thing that bothers me is that the Wi-Fi is sometimes unstable, but I use the internet for work, so if it improves, I would like to stay here regularly.

I stayed in Hakodate, which I visited just before the pandemic. Today, my daughter said that she would like to eat the breakfast she had at Kikuya again, just as she remembered it, so I would like to comment as I remember those days. The room was small, but it was very convenient as it was near the station. And wallet-friendly prices. When I asked for sightseeing advice at the front desk, they responded politely. I would like to be taken care of by Kikuya on my next trip to Hakodate♪

Although it is an older hotel, it is cheaper. It was ¥5,000 per night during the summer vacation season. It seems to be the cheapest category compared to surrounding hotels. In addition, I think that the location where you can feel the hospitality and the location close to the morning market are attractive. What bothered me was the musty smell in the bathroom and the hardness of the bed pillow. I think this is a good hotel for those who just want to sleep at night and want to explore the market early in the morning.

It's certainly old. Showa retro. The room key is also from the Showa era (it took me a while to remember lol). However, it was clean, the front desk staff was very responsive, and there were no problems at all. thank you very much.

The front desk owner's service is very friendly and he will introduce nearby restaurants attentively. Breakfast is also prepared by himself. Although the room is old, it is large and clean. If I have a chance, I will stay here again!

We used a Japanese-style room. As the handwritten copy of the information says, "Sorry it's old," the building itself, including the elevators, is old, but it was a good impression for the price.The thermostatic mixing faucet in the unit bath is highly rated.The sound doesn't seem to be particularly hollow, but it is at the level of a normal cheap hotel.There is a free breakfast service, with toasted bread and coffee provided.Check out is in a key box.Points that caught my attention・The room key is a push lock that can only be locked from inside the room (there is a note on the inside, but I seem to have overlooked it...security level is low)・The refrigerator does not work (probably caused a loss)・In a Japanese-style room, there is no light switch at hand, so it is a bit troublesome (you have to stand and pull the string)・Personality of guests (somewhat worrisome)good point・You can stay in a place close to Hakodate Station with good cost performance (close to the tram stop)・Morning market and Lucky Pierrot are nearby

I stayed in a Japanese traditional style room without a bed, it's cozy and full of sun light through the big window. The shower room is tiny and spotless. Close to the station, next to the Morning Market square and easy to get to Motomachi area, Kanemori red brick warehouses...on foot or by street cars in only few minutes. And with friendly old owners, the price is reasonable, this hotel is 9.5/10 for budget travellers

It's conveniently located near the station, and although it's a little old, it's good enough for one person to stay. Close to the market. Since breakfast is bread, it might be better to go to the morning market.When flushing the toilet, be careful as it will not flush unless you press the button firmly.

There is a fee for bikes, but you can leave them in the underground parking lot.I'm grateful to be able to park my bike safely in a location so close to the station.The facility has a Showa feel to it, but it is well kept.The futon was soft and clean.The customer service at the front desk is also great, and when touringThis is the accommodation I want to stay at.By the way, it takes less than 20 minutes to get to the Tsugaru Kaikyo Ferry terminal.

Just like everyone's reviews, this hotel feels like home!I couldn't make a reservation for the hotel online, so I called the hotel the day before and was told that it was faster and would fill up quickly. But he happened to call me the next day because a hotel room became available ^_^I am truly grateful to the staff who are so considerate! It's cheap, close to tourist spots, and a really great hotel! If I ever go to Hakodate again, I will stay here without hesitation!
