It's nice to sit on a chair among the patchwork deck wood, forget everything, drink a cup of coffee, and stare at Mt. Tokachi in a daze.

You can enjoy a B&B in the quiet countryside, with a friendly owner and delicious dinner and breakfast. The disadvantage is that the room is small and the bathroom needs to be shared.

The guesthouse is clean and comfortable. The food was delicious and the location idyllic. Joe was incredibly generous with his time, offering plenty of recommendations and advice helping us to get the most out of our trip to Hokkaido. We would like to stay again in future.

-----Additional note 3rd stayThank you very much for all your help. When I come here, I feel calm. The owners, Mr. and Mrs. Asada, are very attentive and, as always, the food is excellent. Thank you very much for the camera. We hope to see you again next year!Nagamatsu, Theo-----2nd stay overnightThis is my second time. I will never forget the view from the inn when I stayed there two years ago, the beautiful and relaxing interior, and above all, the delicious homemade food, so I visited again😍. I came by train because I didn't have a driver's license, but thank you for picking me up from Nakafurano Station. The two days I was healed by the owner Joe's personality and his wife's kindness. If you come here, I recommend you to stay for two nights, including breakfast and dinner (I only stayed one night this time due to work commitments. Next time!)By staying for 2 nights, you can enjoy the wonderful nature around the guest house all day long, work or read while looking up at Mt. Tokachi from the large windows of the guest house, and you are sure to have the best holiday ever. I remember that lunch locations are limited, so it might be a good idea to bring a packed lunch. Please let me visit you again. I'm sure you're busy now that you've returned to inbound, but I'm rooting for you!Nagamatsu, Theo

I love traveling and have stayed in many different hotels, but this was the worst one I've ever stayed in.Even though it is highly rated.Don't trust Google ratings. The day we stayed was midsummer, and the temperature was over 30 degrees Celsius, but there was no air conditioner in the room. The rooms, which were separated by plywood, were not kept well, and there were pieces of hair and nails falling, and there were clumps of dust, so it wasn't clean at all.Even though it was more expensive than a business hotel, I was only allowed to take a shower and was not allowed to take a bath. The owner was unfriendly, and when I pointed out the above points, he yelled at me and said, ``If you have any complaints, stay at a more expensive hotel.''The location is nice, but when I went out wearing the provided slippers, I was attacked by ticks. Looks like there was a tick on the slippers.Of course, there was no forewarning about the presence of ticks. After staying at this inn, I felt very sad, frustrated, and overwhelmed. My Hokkaido trip was ruined.I don't want to go there again.I don't want to give even one star, but I can't post unless I give a star, so I have no choice but to give it one.I love to travel and have stayed at many hotels, but this was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in.Despite the high ratings.Don't trust google ratings. It was midsummer when I stayed, and the temperature was over 30 degrees Celsius, but there was no air conditioner in the room. The plywood partitioned room was also not cleaned properly, and it was not clean at all, with pieces of hair and nails falling off, and clumps of dust.Even though it was more expensive than a business hotel, there was only a shower and it was forbidden to take a bath. The owner was unfriendly, and when I pointed out the above points, he cursed me and yelled at me, saying, "If you have a complaint, stay at a more expensive inn."The location is good, but when I went out with the provided slippers, I was attacked by ticks.
