We came here for the day visit onsen - twice! It was the quiet season, so, for a start, the onsen was almost empty. But it was also spacious, extremely clean, and well maintained. Most importantly, the water was exceptional onsen water. There are 2 large baths inside - 40 and 42 degrees. A steam room and a sauna inside and a very new sauna outside. There's a cold dipping pool inside, and the rotemburo is cold as well. This seemed strange, as I've always thought of onsen as having a hot rotemburo. This was a negative for me, but it's a small gripe when everything else was so good, and I did enjoy taking a cold dip OUTSIDE after my sauna - something new. Definitely recommended after a chilly day on Mt Asahidake!

The rooms are clean and spacious. Asahidake was not visible. Although the temperature outside is low, it is extremely hot inside. The indoor temperature cannot be adjusted. Many of the staff members are from other countries, so the service cannot be called hospitality, but it's not that they're bad, they're just not attentive. The food is buffet style and tastes like a business hotel. Especially the rice and sweets were the worst. Also, the tape is dark and makes it difficult to enjoy food. The beef steak, which was sold separately, was cheap at 2,600 yen, but it was disappointingly thin. The price and value didn't match, there were a lot of Chinese groups, and I had the impression that it was a crappy hotel for inbound tourists.

It was a beautiful room. The food was a buffet, but each item was delicious. Even though we were late, they responded politely. There are three saunas in the public bath!I also appreciate that it's close to the ropeway.

Chose this property for its proximity to ropeway station and bus from Asahikawa stops here. Recommend to take the public bus to nearby Higashikawa town which is so peaceful and has nice food. Timing is limited to about 4hrs. Our 54sqm room was very spacious and clean. Lobby was quite bare. Onsen was big with 2 different temperatures and a cold dip. Laundry is free. Just buy detergent from reception at Y50. Food was average(not authentic), probably prepared by non-Japanese, desert was boring(too sweet) and fruits was only pineapple or oranges. Aside from buffet selection, you’ll be served a main dish. We stayed 4 nights here to enjoy Mt Asahidake. We left early on one of days to do an early climb. The prepacked breakfast was miserly. The coffee at lounge and the ones in the room tasted awful. If not its location, we wouldn’t choose to stay here again. The price you pay is for the location, the rooms and onsen.

I used it for a day trip bath after hiking Mt. Asahidake. This was convenient because it was the only place within walking distance from Ropeway Sanroku Station. It was the beginning of the autumn foliage season, but perhaps because it was a weekday and the time was early at 1:00 pm, the hot springs were almost private and I was able to relax. I also bought the curry rice, the meat was tender and delicious. However, there are fixed times for day trip bathing and meals, so please check in advance.

This was my first time staying here | To climb Mt. Asahidake with autumn leaves | | First, I had a hard time checking in. | The TV was out of order, so I was told they were preparing a small TV. …
