We spent 7 nights during Obon week and really enjoyed our stay at the Vale. My daughter even called it the « home-hotel » as she felt very confortable in it. The appartment is modern, spacious, clean, confortable, very functional and offers everything needed for a family stay (washing machine, dryer, dish washer, etc). The staff is very friendly and reached out to us few days before our stay to give us tips and info. They always replied in a very timely manner to our question and managed to upgrade our room per our last minute request.We hesitated to book the convention hotel which was located closer to the theme park and restaurants but are definitely satisfied with our choice as for similar price, the room is more spacious and looked better. We enjoyed home cooked meal for 3 nights thanks to the kitchen equipment and the possibility to deliver groceries from online supermarket (nicely brought up to our room by hotel staff) which is a good change to eating at same restaurants every day. Also the distance didn t feel like such an issue after all, since there is a passageway through the resort, avoiding the heat from outside. We definitely enjoyed the all the family activities (fireworks, shows, orienting BBQ, canoe, etc) and facilities (onsen, inside/outside pool, theme park, gongola,…) offered by the resort and thought it was the best combination in terms of lodging and accessibility to activities.

The Vale Rusutsu is a luxury condominium-style hotel located in Rusutsu Village, Hokkaido. It opened in December 2020 and offers direct access to the hot springs and various facilities within the resort. There are 10 types of rooms, designed to provide a comfortable stay for everyone from couples to three-generation families. Close to West Mt. and directly connected to Rusutsu Onsen "Kotobuki no Yu", you can enjoy amusement parks and golf in the summer, and ski-in/ski-out in the winter. The room I stayed in also had a washer and dryer, making it suitable for long-term stays.The staff were very nice and I had good memories of Hokkaido.Thank you for your help.

I stay here every summer and highly recommend it.The penthouse has four bedrooms, with a bathtub in the master bedroom and a shower in each bedroom. The hot springs are a little far away so this is useful.There is a Jacuzzi and BBQ grill on the roof balcony, perfect for parties. A wine cellar/dishwasher is also available.All the staff are very courteous. Recently, there are some staff members who don't speak Japanese, but they can communicate in English 100% of the time.

Stayed during the year-end and New Year holidays of 2023-2024.I've been to the Westin every year, but this was my first time at Vert.The room is spacious and there is a washing machine in the room, which is very convenient. It was nice to have a hot spring nearby.However, it is very far from the slopes of Isola and East, and it is difficult. There is nothing better than Westin in that respect.The facilities and hotel are new and good, but most of the staff at the front desk are foreigners and they are always required to speak English. It's good for people who want to study or use English, but I think it's difficult for people who can't speak English at all.Also, you have to go to the hotel next door for breakfast, shops, etc., so the Westin is convenient for that as well.However, overall I was satisfied with the hotel.
