Traveling as a couple with a 1 year old child. I was very impressed with the careful consideration given by the hotel staff, especially the female staff. The inn was quiet overall, but they were very accommodating to children. It's a riverside Japanese-Western style maisonette type room, and considering it costs 120,000 yen for everyone, it's small, and I was a little worried that I had to be careful not to let my child go up the stairs alone, but the hospitality was good, so I was satisfied overall. . It was also nice that there were free drinks throughout the facility.Guest room⭐️3.5Staff support⭐️4.5Cooking⭐️4

I was running late due to snow delays, but the staff reached out to make sure I was okay. From the moment they greeted me to the moment I was dropped off by their shuttle service, everyone was so attentive. There are beautiful and cozy areas to explore and relax in, and the jazz playing throughout this ryokan really sets the mood. The public onsens are relatively small, but I did not mind that at all, especially since I didn't see a single person in the 3 times I used them. I cannot express how gorgeous the semi-outdoor onsen was. The rooms are gorgeous and thoughtful, and the futon was comfy. I do wish the tub in the bathroom was wider- it felt claustrophobic.Dinner was perfect. You have a dedicated staff member that picks you up from your room for all of your meals and brings you to your private dining room. Each kaiseki course is brought out at your pace, and drinks are always full. I think the single underwhelming part of Kuramure is the breakfast. It is a small, simple spread of rice and sides, and the sides all have the same sweet soy sauce flavor and mushy textures. It was ok, but I felt that it was very lacking, especially for the price of the stay.

Compared to other facilities in this price range, it was generally sloppy and I felt that the cost performance was the worst.I think the target audience is overseas. The food is cheaper and less delicious than the website, and the concept is a mystery.I wonder if the pace of meal delivery is fast and the staff responds quickly so I want to leave early? I couldn't enjoy it.Breakfast was cold.Since we have a set time, I thought it would be natural in this price range to count backwards and serve something warm. The room had a lot of things in it and felt small, so I would have liked to make the TV bigger first rather than put something like that there. It would be a waste to adjust the hot spring temperature by adding water, so I thought it would be a good idea to lower the temperature of the source a little so that less water would be needed. We had a great time at the bar and had a great time.

Ultra modern Onsen with kaiseki dinner and authentic Japanese breakfast. The rooms are spacious and well appointed…Onsen is small, but had it all to myself! If you prefer a more traditional ryokan/onsen, you might go somewhere else.  …

We are very grateful to the boss for his thoughtfulness. We were amazed by the envelopes for the chopsticks and the food was delicious.

Amazing and quiet place. The staff are so professional and polite. The entire place is one story so there are no stairs or elevators except for inside rooms where some have stairs. The onsens outside are split for each gender as usual. The onsens were so nice with an outdoor and indoor one.

Overall, it's a very good accommodation, but it's too expensive.I like traveling to ryokans in Japan, and have been to various places about 20 times so far, but when I compare the price compared to other accommodations, I feel like the price is excessive.I stayed at Hoshino Kai Poroto the day before, and even though I was upgraded to a larger, top-class room with a better view, an outdoor bath, and hairy crab food, it was cheaper than here. When I actually visited, I only found 3 weekend groups (less than 10 people) even though there were many rooms in the building. It felt like they were raising the price and accepting only a small number of teams, but that is suitable for a private house or private ryokan targeting a small number of people from the beginning.Because there are so many hallway-style rooms here, I had the scary feeling of staying alone among so many empty rooms. Also, the provided costumes were made of different materials for men and women, but the men's were stiff and very uncomfortable. The TV in the room was so small that it was less than 18 inches, so it hurt my eyes, and the large bath was the narrowest and had the worst view among all the ryokans I visited in Hokkaido. The unlimited cocktail bar didn't have as good drinks as I expected. It seemed better to add high-quality alcohol to the menu, even if it was for a fee.Of course, if you are asking if this is a bad place, it is not.The room amenities were great and the small interior design was nice. Also, the room smelled nice and the meal wasn't too bad. However, it is not worth 1.1 million won for two people. If you compare the quality of ryokans in other parts of Japan, I think the quality is about 500,000 won for two people.Even if this is because this is Hokkaido, I don't understand it because there are lodgings like the Kai Poroto mentioned above that are cheaper and offer better rooms and experiences. It's just a shame.p.s. There was a dead cockroach on the window sill.
