I used a free site this time to go touring and camping. Payments can be made through Paypal (including Aupay, the price is 1000 yen on a free site), and the restaurant is also open from 11:00 to 2:00 p.m. (Takeout is available until 16:00, and I felt that the menu would be good as a beer snack.) The shop is open until 18:00. (They also sold sanitary products such as cup noodles and toothbrushes. You have to chop the firewood with a machete, but I think they sold it for around 500 to 600 yen.)The shower room was free to use. There is a stray cat on the site, and it was a good mental respite to see him spending time leisurely. If you come by bike or car, you can bring it in and take it out, but otherwise you can park in a special parking lot, but it didn't feel that far unless you pegged down at the edge of the campsite.Although it is located along the coast, it is not so open that you can feel strong winds, so you can enjoy the scenery at just the right angle. If you would like to soak in a hot spring, there is Minamisanriku Kanko Hotel about 20 minutes by car from the campsite, where you can take a day trip bath (around 1000 yen). (until 14:00)If you have shopping to do, I think it will be easy to do so as there are Ujie Supermarket, Yakuodo, and a hardware store within a 30 minute drive. (I found the fruit-based drinks at Ujie Supermarket to be delicious and interesting.)This time, I forgot the poles for my one-pole tent and was having trouble setting up the tent, but they kindly lent me a pole of the right size, and I found it to be a nice campsite. It's a very nice campsite and one of the easiest to use among the campgrounds I use while touring, so I would like to use it again.
