2024/7/26 17:15~ 1 nightWhen I arrived, I was happy to be served cold tea 🍵 and shiruko ♡They will give you an extension when dinner and breakfast are ready.I was glad that my request to bring some rice with me when I had steak dinner came true!Tsure really liked the second strongest acidic bath in Japan (located in a detached area, no washing area). The bathroom in the building was also made by POLA and I liked it.For breakfast, I wanted to have a second helping of rice, but I gave up because there were so many side dishes💦The room is small. They were cooling the cherry jelly ♪

First time at Zao Onsen ♨️It was a good decision to stay at this inn.It felt like home, and the proprietress and employees were kind and attentive to the children, including during check-in and meals. The highly acidic hot spring had good quality and atmosphere, and although it was located in a detached area, it was a reasonable distance so that I could cool off and return to my room after bathing. The food was plentiful and delicious.I felt the warmth of the hotel with handwritten messages written in every detail and a thank you postcard that arrived a few days after my stay.I would like to stay here again when I go to Zao Onsen.

It’s been a while since I’ve been to Yamagata Zao 😅 The banquet inn is still there 😁 I saw an antelope next to the bath 👌 When I returned the next day, the landlady gave me a bunch of bracken ☺️

It was a comfortable inn.I also enjoyed the food and the hot springs. The cloudy ♨ was outside the inn due to the strong acid, but it was at a comfortable distance. This is a ryokan that I would like to visit again.

Although the hotel is not big, the service attitude is very friendly. Because we are foreigners, the waiter explained slowly and was afraid that I would not understand. He confirmed again and again and felt respected. The dinner was also delicious. The hot spring It’s also great. After soaking, my skin feels very delicate. It’s a place I can come back to again.

This is a very nice and friendly hostel.During my stay, I caused some inconvenience to the staff at the inn due to my misunderstanding, but the proprietress was kind enough to accommodate me, which I was grateful for.The outdoor bath is very acidic, so it was a bit of a walk, but it was nice to be able to enjoy the hot spring in the snow.I arrived late and couldn't make it in time for the free service, but when I left the hotel the next day, I was offered something to eat since I couldn't eat it yesterday. Also, when I told them I was going to climb the Zao Ropeway, I was wearing regular sneakers, so they lent me their rain boots, which was helpful. I think I would have been in a lot of trouble if I had gone in sneakers. On the way back, everyone was really kind and even dropped me off at a nearby bus stop.I would like to stay again.

It is a very humane hotel. When I checked in the night before, I casually asked about the dried persimmons in Yamagata. It is already very difficult to find it in February after the beginning of spring. When we checked out this morning, the lady gave us a box of dried persimmons.おもてなし

Checking in during the ski season, the location is a bit far from the lift station, and it is a bit difficult to hold the skis. Although the hotel has a drying room, there are no benches for wearing ski boots. There are only 4 folding benches. The folding benches are too high and the ground is a bit uneven. It’s hard to exert force when wearing ski boots. I hope it can be improved.
