This is my first trip to Japan. I had the opportunity to visit this area and spent some time in the Hot Spring. The scenery is stunning since the whole area is mountainous. …

I'm mostly satisfied, but I gave it 4 stars because the bathroom in the main building had disinfectant chlorine in my nose. It's a high-temperature salt spring, so it's refreshing, and the facilities are good, so it's supposed to be comfortable, but the chlorine smell bothers me... This is necessary for safe bathing. It's not a sulfur spring, so maybe it can't be helped. There is also a pub inside the hotel where you can grab a drink after taking a bath, so there was nothing to say about this place. satisfaction.

I came here after visiting Jigenji Temple and a public bath. I could hear the sound of Goma line. The bath is hot and refreshing. At the hotel, we received cordial customer service from the front desk and dinner staff, which made us feel at home. I enjoyed a lot of things at Baden Pool, including the jacuzzi. The public bath was spacious and there were so many baths that I was confused, so I thoroughly enjoyed it. The bathroom in the annex was also small but nice. It's been a while since I last visited, but it's still a wonderful inn. I would like to come again if I have a chance. thank you very much.

I couldn't get a reservation at the main building, so I booked the annex because it was next door. This is my first stay at Mitoya. There is a bathhouse in the annex, but it is quite small compared to the main building. The main building has three full-scale large public baths, so I used the main building instead of going to the annex bathhouse. The annex is next to the main building, but there is no internal hallway, and you have to walk for about a minute through an open courtyard. There are stone steps along the way, so it's difficult to walk, and it's quite difficult to go back and forth in a yukata in the middle of winter. For bathing in the evening, we were taken to the main building by car, but for bathing and breakfast the next morning, we walked around the courtyard, although it was cold. The large public bath in the main building has a safety deposit box, so you can bring your smartphone with you.The large public bath is satisfying as there are a variety of baths available, with men and women taking turns in the evening and morning.Breakfast was buffet style, and the delicious items were crab shumai, croissants, French toast, and scrambled eggs.Personally, I didn't like my favorite after-meal coffee because it had a bland taste. In addition, some of the floors in the room I stayed in were sticky.

Annex of Hotel New Mitoya. While the main building is a Japanese inn with mainly spacious Japanese-style rooms, the annex has mainly Western-style rooms that can accommodate 1 to 2 people, making it ideal for solo travelers and business travelers. It is connected to the main building by a pleasant courtyard path in about 2 minutes on foot, but if you ask at the front desk, they will pick you up and drop you off at any time, which is a great service. There is no food service facility, and everything is moved to the main building. However, there is also a large public bath in the annex, which is also spacious enough for you to relax. The room I was assigned had a single bed and a small raised area with tatami mats, so if you pull a futon up here, it can accommodate two people.

There are 2 rooms where pets can stay.I stayed there several years ago, and I didn't have a bad impression that I had to go to the main building for meals and the public bath, so I used it on the last day of my trip to Tohoku. When I checked in at the annex, I was told that I had the previous data, so if there were no changes, it was easy to just sign in, and the staff were all kind. The rooms are also clean. The pet room is convenient because you can bring your luggage in through the back door.I leave him in the room when he eats, but he seems to be quiet when I put a dog bed in his large circle.During dinner, a young woman seemed to be in charge of the food, but she said, ``Don't open the lid until it's cooked,'' and she came to check on me once midway through, and said, ``Not yet,'' and then left me alone. They didn't come even after the fire went out. When I opened the lid, there was overcooked meat. The sound of the woman's heels as she walked was jarring. I wish the soles were at least rubber. The bath is large and you can enjoy a variety of bathtubs. The bathroom in the annex was small, but I was alone no matter what time I went in, so I was able to relax. The breakfast buffet was also delicious. There was also kamameshi.

This is the annex building of New Mitoya. There are parts of the building that feel cheaper than the main building. Also, the room has a slightly peculiar smell, so people who are sensitive to smells may be concerned about it.There is also a large public bath in the annex building, but the two bathtubs are small. However, even if you stay in the annex building, you can still use the public bath in the main building. However, it is a little far away and there are some stairs that are difficult to walk, so if you have weak legs, you should be careful.Breakfast can be eaten on the second floor of the main building. It gets crowded so I recommend going early. There are many kinds and it is very delicious.I was a little concerned about the amount of dust. The Annex building is cheap, so I think it's a good value for money.

I used the plan that included breakfast by myself. I was grateful for this plan, as there are few accommodations where you can stay alone without dinner in Akiu Onsen, which is famous for its autumn leaves. Additionally, you can enjoy a buffet-style breakfast and hot spring bath in the main building, which is located on the same premises. I think this is a recommended plan if you are not particular about the room and do not need dinner at the hotel.

Since we arrived after 7pm, we stayed in the annex instead of the main building. The room was spacious and clean. I think it's a good deal because you can use the bathroom in the main building. The breakfast in the morning was also delicious and I was surprised that there was also pot rice.
