This was just a memorable experience I will bring with me for the rest of my life!We stayed in this wonderful traditional Japanese house where we had the chance to prepare our own food and spend some time with the host. He is very welcoming and even if we arrived late in the evening he waited for us to eat and then he made a tea ceremony for the duration of one hour! I can just say this was fantastic and he also took a picture with us as a gift.The room we stayed in was very big, comfortable and clean with beds on the tatami and we had a quiet night sleep.I cannot recommend it enough and I would highly suggest it as a stop if you are visiting this area.

Very local, relaxing accommodation and tea ceremony cultural experience. The host is lovely and attentive to guests. It is surrounded by a very quiet residential area, where you can take a relaxing walk. If you can, I suggest you reserve more time to enjoy this accommodation!

We had authentic tea in a separate tea room. It was refreshing to hear the detailed instructions on how to perform the tea ceremony.The room was too big for me and my small dog.The shared kitchen, toilet, bath, and living room were all spacious.I'm glad I was able to prepare for the 12 o'clock check-out without having to rush.It was just a heavy snowfall, and there was quite a bit of snow for Sendai.

I was very moved because I received a surprise invitation to stay at a private stay in Sendai! (((o(*ﾟ▽ﾟ*)o)))Thank you for letting me experience the tea ceremony and see you off. It's a private lodging, so it's a bit cozy, but the price is great for this mansion experience! thank you very much!I would also like to bring a friend.I went to Yamagata by rental car and the location is good.
