This is my second stay.Last time I stayed there, I was very satisfied, so I stayed there again this time. The atmosphere of the inn was good, but there were many inconveniences that made me feel disappointed staying there.・Can't use dryerSince I was traveling with children, I thought I would end up with some unexpected laundry, so I chose an accommodation that had a washing machine. There was indeed a drum-type washing machine, but when I tried to use the drying function, an error occurred and the clothes did not dry at all.I told the staff, but they didn't know, so they told me to wait and see, and in the end I ended up letting it dry indoors.・Additional bath towels are available for a fee (550 yen per towel)If you stay for consecutive nights, do you change the bath towels? Will there be any additional costs? It's my fault that I didn't check first, but there was no explanation at all, and there was no particular mention in the guide. Also, originally there were only bath towels for adults.Adults and children alike use bath towels, so if you only have enough for adults, you'll inevitably run out. .I wouldn't have any complaints if I could wash it in the washing machine and dry it, but since I couldn't use the drying function, I asked for more.- Unable to connect to front deskI called the front desk to confirm the above two points, but the call was not answered at all. It's not busy, it just won't connect, and after a while I get a call from a 050 number.I would like you to at least call back from the front desk number. When I looked it up, it was a suspicious sales number, and it sounded very far away, probably due to poor reception.・Bread breakfast is troublesomeI knew that the breakfast menu had changed since my last stay, but I felt that the quality had dropped considerably.Previously, a bread sommelier would come in the morning and bake a variety of delicious breads right in front of you, but now Ogawa Coffee's breakfast menu is brought to you. This takes a lot of time to prepare, and the coffee beans have to be ground for each person in a small grinder, and the bread can only be baked for one person at a time.Since I don't have a toaster, I have to bake it in the oven, but there are no instructions on how many times and how long to bake it to make it taste better, so I end up just trying to figure it out.The scrambled eggs that came with the salad were also cold, so I would have been more satisfied if I went to Ogawa Coffee for breakfast.Even though it takes a lot of time to prepare, the arrival time is after 8 o'clock, so we recommend that you prepare for departure by then.・Baggage storage is not available on holidays.Luggage storage before and after check-in is not available on public holidays. There was no explanation whatsoever about that.I feel like this service is needed on holidays, but I heard that the liquor store I work with doesn't offer it.I think it's strange that there is no explanation at all.The atmosphere of the inn itself was very good, and when I came here for the first time, I was quite satisfied with the inn. However, there were many disappointing points mentioned above, and I could not say that I was very satisfied.

We stayed for 3 nights on a family trip with 4 adults and 1 child. The second floor had a raised railing so children had to be careful, but overall it was cozy, clean, and really nice.I was touched when I came with my child and was given star candy as a gift. The open-air bath had hot water even though it was winter, so it was nice to relieve fatigue by enjoying the open-air bath every day.You have to walk a bit from the station, but there is a bus stop right nearby, and Gion Street is a short walk away, so it wasn't inconvenient to get around. It was so much better than a hotel and I was proud that my family was satisfied.Next time, I want to visit other accommodations operated here^^

It was spacious and comfortable enough for 4 people to stay. The open-air bath facing the garden was large and spacious. The location is convenient as you can walk to Shijo Kawaramachi.

The person in charge will come to the inn when you check in, and the service is excellent. It was very helpful that we were given detailed instructions on how to use the facilities in the room and information about the neighborhood.Since the entire building is rented, there is no front desk like a hotel, but the response when I contacted them by phone was good. The rooms are wonderful and the location is convenient, so I would definitely visit again.

It's located at the back of a narrow alley typical of Kyoto, so the surrounding area has a quiet and calm atmosphere. The interior has been renovated into a wonderful space that cannot be imagined from the outside. It's worth a look. I was using it as a family, and it was spacious so I was able to spend a relaxing time.It is very convenient as it is within walking distance to the Gion area.It seems that there are other facilities in the same series nearby, so I plan to use them next time.

I tried to take a bath and turned on the main light, but it wouldn't turn on. When I contacted the front desk and asked for a replacement, I was told that the person in charge was out of town and couldn't replace it, so I ended up taking a bath in the dark. The open-air bath I was looking forward to was ruined. The next day when I checked out, there was no apology and the service was the worst. I will never use it again.

A nice inn built in a Kyoto townhouse where you can feel the warmth of wood. The living room has floor heating, making it a natural space for family gatherings. The bath was an open-air bath made of ceramics, and you could enjoy the atmosphere of the garden. There is a counter kitchen, so you can enjoy an extraordinary experience staying up late while enjoying drinks. It was a hotel I would like to stay at again when I go to Kyoto.
