Had a wonderful night here, stumbling across this place after encountering rude unhelpful staff at a nearby yakiniku place and am so glad that we came here. Excellent drinks, wonderful vibe, great prices. The owner/chef is rather humorous and despite little English, we communicated just fine. Menu on the walls can be translated with Google. Do not miss the grilled offal, and dashi maki (egg rolls). The place filled up with locals around 9pm. Every item we ordered in the menu was delightful (around 10 items and 10 drinks in total), coming up to 10000 yen. This will be a very memorable night, possibly the best meal in kyoto so far.

Although it is a little far from the station, this izakaya has the service, delicious food, and atmosphere that you would expect from a private restaurant.

This is an izakaya restaurant serving Kyushu cuisine. We recommend a variety of charcoal-grilled chicken. Everything is delicious. Of course, there is a wide selection of shochu, but there is also a comparison of Kyushu sake drinks. It's nearby so I'll definitely go there again.

Fuss free izakaya. No English menu (everything stated on the wall) but google translate does the job! Nice food overall!

This bar was originally a guest house. In addition to counter seats, there is also a small seating area.I met up with my friends who were drinking earlier and toasted with Sapporo draft beer~☆As the name of the shop says, Kyushu, you can find karashi lotus root, fish cakes, etc. written on strips of paper inside the shop.I asked forCharcoal-grilled chicken thighsThe taste goes well with alcohol, but also makes you want to eat rice. The meat is delicious, but I personally like the skin as well.homemade fish cakeThe fluffy fish cakes are served with soy sauce.Dashi rollIt's so soft and has so much soup stock that it feels like it's going to fall apart when you pick it up with chopsticks. There are some interesting menu items like Komatsuna sour.I think I'll order it next time. Thanks for the meal~
