2024/10I used it for a weekday stay. The hotel entrance is in the arcade, and the location is perfect, about 5 to 7 minutes walk from Sendai Station. There is an Aeon store within walking distance, and there are many drug stores, convenience stores, and restaurants near the hotel, making it very convenient. The hotel reception is on the second floor up the stairs, so it might be a bit difficult if you have a lot of luggage. The equipment in the room is a little old, but it is well-cleaned and comfortable.

The location is very convenient, about a 10-minute walk from Sendai Station to the hotel. There are restaurants, shopping, convenience stores, and a pharmacy all nearby. The room has a historic feel but is still considered comfortable. The only downside is that from the ground floor to the front desk, you have to take a flight of stairs, and there's no lift, which can be inconvenient when carrying luggage.Additionally, we stayed for three nights, and although the housekeeper provided new towels, they didn’t take away the old ones or empty the trash, so when we left, there was a pile of towels and a lot of garbage in the room. Another inconvenience was that they didn’t have a coin laundry service.

The hotel is old! But being close to the station is an advantage.

This place smells really bad. The lobby smells fine, the elevator smells bad, the hallway to the room smells the worst and the room itself smells gross. Luckily your nose shuts off bad smells after awhile, the bottle of air freshener did not help. I used most of the bottle for good measure. Turned the AC on high and the air purifier to the max. Put a piece of paper in the room key/lights activator came back an hour later and it was still not great. I ended up leaving the window open all night with the AC running and air purifier going and it was tolerable. I didn’t tell the staff about it. I am sure they know and I don’t think there’s anything they can do about it. That hotel should invest in an ozone generator. Great service though the staff was the best!!

From Sendai Station, pass Hapina Nakacho Arcade, cross the intersection in front of Don Quijote Sendai Ekimae store, enter Chris Road Arcade, and you will see it on your right. The front desk is on the second floor, which is accessed by stairs, but there is an intercom on the left side of the stairs, and if you have large luggage, you can use the elevator from the first floor.Good points:There is a 24-hour coffee service in the lobby and you can use paper cups.Laundry is free (reservations required. Detergent can be purchased at the front desk) and there are plenty of machines so I was able to use them right away.It was easy because it was a touchless card key.The faucets in the sink and bathtub were conveniently located with thermostats that could be operated with one hand. The refrigerator also had a freezing function, so I was able to make frozen tea.The TV was wall-mounted and the desk was small but spacious. For people who don't watch TV, TV is just a nuisance. It is a type that boils water quickly, so you can boil water as many times as you like without any time lag. When I looked at the old posted photos, I saw an electromagnetic server in the picture, which I thought was troublesome. There were 5 electrical outlets around the desk. One area had been devised with extension cords, and I thought the hotel was listening to the voices of its guests. There is also a grounded outlet in the bathroom. If you put a tag on the doorknob to prevent people from entering the room, they will put towels in plastic bags in the basket, so it feels clean. If you hang the basket in an eco-bag on the doorknob instead of placing it directly on the floor, you won't need a plastic bag.Problem:I couldn't call a taxi by the side.It was easy to get a taxi at Aoba Street. There are large steps at the entrance to the toilet and bathroom, so it may be difficult for people with bad knees or the elderly. All accommodation plans seem to be eco-plans, and it says that cleaning will begin on the 4th day after the first stay, but it is difficult to understand. Please let us know the scheduled date for cleaning at check-in.Some people may find it inconvenient to have electrical outlets concentrated around their desks. The lockers for hanging clothes are small and difficult to use.You can't open the guest room door unless you close the locker door each time.Although it's half-baked as a closet, there's no need for a door.Since the air conditioner is centrally controlled, it is not possible to control the temperature, only cooling. It was a problem when I was driving because it was cold and sometimes it was hot when I stopped. There is only one elevator, and you may not be able to ride it when it is crowded.Lower floors may be more convenient as the stairs are open.Overall, I felt that the hotel was making an effort to create an environment that was easy for guests to use with the limited facilities while making efforts to keep accommodation costs low.The room is well-cleaned and has a high likability.

Within walking distance from Sendai Station. As soon as I entered the room, there was a sweaty smell and I thought I had failed, but I was able to manage it by using the air purifier in the room and ventilating the window.Other than that, it is a normal business hotel, and check-in and check-out are done using automatic machines. It might be a good idea if you want to stay in an arcade and stay cheap.
