Beautiful large rooms with extremely friendly service. You can't complain about the situation.

The location is a little difficult to find, but there are both Western and Japanese rooms in one room. There is a large TV in the Japanese-style room where you can watch YouTube etc. I was very grateful because I had children with me. This is a hotel I would like to visit again if I have the chance.

The experience has not been good. There was no hot water in the shower in the room, there was no curtain on the tatami so if you slept there, the sun came in at 5:00am and finally the breakfast was very bad: they asked us to confirm the time and we did not understand the reason since when we arrived nothing was prepared and the breakfast itself, the Western one, the only drink was water (no coffee or juice or anything else) and the food was two leaves of lettuce, a slice of bacon, a puree of vegetables and 3 mini-pieces of pastries (the only edible part of the entire breakfast). In short, very bad experience

It was a good hotel. It's very reasonably priced and close to Kyoto Station and Toji Temple. Some reviews say it's difficult to get there by car, but if you do some research on a map, it's pretty easy. However, the toilet should be separate from the bath and sink. That's the only negative point.Breakfast was also simple but delicious. I like it better than the buffet style.

Hotel price was great. Restaurant price was out of control. Rooms were excellent. TVs and linens were wonderful. Bathrooms clearly are top knotch with the separate toilet and tub area and two sinks. Water pressure was perfect. Location is great and feels like you are living with the locals. A short walk to the train station, Aeon Mall and many touristy attractions.

This was a lovely boutique hotel located a short walk from Kyoto station. It was very quiet and the room was immaculately clean. It was serviced daily and suited our needs perfectly. We would choose to stay here for future visits.

I am American stationed / living in Northern Japan and this hotel is great if you want to be immersed into the Japanese culture. It was a quick 10-14 minute walk from the Kyoto Station for me, my wife, and our 15 month old daughter. That traditional tatami room is a must for any additional kids no matter the age. The restaurant workers were on rest days (normal for Japan) so we rented bikes (880yen each) and went exploring. Within a 15-20 minute bike ride you can see a lot of Kyoto from this location. Riding a bike is super easy and normal in Japan so don’t be afraid of it. Honestly what did it for me was the bike rental. Trains and buses yes are super easy but Japan by bike was a first for me (lived in Japan for 3 years now) and it was seamless! Recommend staying here.

Booked this room for my parents, they had a large bathroom area and a double sink which was nice. Quite different from our family room with a small bathroom. They enjoyed their stay.
