The ryokan was great. The welcome and check-in started with tea and sweets. The room is classic Japanese, clean and cozy with the futons. We really liked the bathroom and also that you could use the onsen for free. The staff was really helpful and friendly. At our request, a taxi would be called for us after check-out and again we would have tea and a warm welcome. Highly recommended! The bus takes you very quickly to the most important spots. You can also buy a day ticket directly there at the ryokan, which made everything a lot easier for us

Our favorite accommodation for our stay in Japan. A superb ryokan where tranquility reigns, very good service, attentive staff and a large room overlooking a small garden. The futons were very comfortable adapted to the western style if desired. It was perfect and completely exotic.

The best place in Japan. The accommodation was friendly and clean, the breakfast was delicious, and there really wasn't anything bad about it. The pain is easy and I can communicate well in English. The house is so pretty that there are photo spots and hidden restaurants everywhere. If I go to Koto again, I want to go here again. Highly recommended

I'm in Japan for the 4th time, but this time I saw the world's smallest bathroom, so here it is! You can barely turn around in it. The one in the photo the hotel gives is a lie. Rooms - actually one room is also small. Without windows, cupboards and shelves, so you have all your things in a pile or in a suitcase. Watch out for room #2, there's something very foul smelling here. The breakfasts are somewhat Japanese-style, but very poor. Miso, rice, tofu and egg omelet in pieces. Fruit only dried banana in 2 cm pieces and orange also in pieces. + toast, jam. No vegetables! The very diligent staff right behind you is constantly covering the bowls with plastic.Less complexity would suit them!Upgrade: there are windows in the room, but they can be opened and are covered with matte foil.
