The location was the last because it was close to the station. It's easy to go sightseeing around the area. My wife who has bad legs also liked it. The landlady, the staff, and everyone else were friendly and kind. I only had breakfast, but the raw wheat gluten and boiled tofu were delicious. After checking out on the last day, I said I would do a little sightseeing around the area and return home, but they were able to keep my luggage until then. Thank you for paying attention to me until the end. I would like to use it again when I go to Kyoto.

The location was good, close to Kyoto Station, so it was convenient and easy to find. The proprietress and all the staff welcomed us cheerfully and made us feel comfortable. Many of our guests were from overseas, and they said, ``It was so relaxing and comfortable, just like home.''The food was delicious and I was able to enjoy the taste of Kyoto. There were flowers arranged all over the place, and the vases and seasonal decorations were lovely and a sight to behold.

I stayed overnight with my girlfriend on a trip to Kyoto and Nara! I went there with high expectations because of the good reviews, and it was much better than I expected! ! The hostess's kindness and ease of conversation were all 5's! It was by far the best of all the hotels and inns I've stayed at so far! If I have the opportunity to stay in Kyoto again, I would definitely like to use it again!

A well-maintained Ryokan run by very pleasant women. I do not recommend having a meal in the hotel. I stayed one night but for over $450 it's way too expensive otherwise the staff is exceptional.

This was the best hotel of our whole trip. We were greeted by the nicest people in the world, who took care of us every step of the way. They make you feel like home, and the attention to detail is amazing. They also put such care into breakfast and dinner. Thank you for everything! We will be back!

Wonderful ryokan experience with excellent service! Location was a great spot in Kyoto where walking to other attractions was easy and short. Huge plus is a large temple that’s just across the street. Very affordable pricing, neat onsen, delicious breakfast, and most of all — the staff were all enthusiastic and extremely hospitable and friendly to us. Will definitely book again!

One of the best experiences in Japan. The staff made us feel like home the entire time. The location and ryokan was perfectly traditional and pictures don’t do it any justice. The amount of genuine care and love from the staff is unmatched and highly recommend to anyone coming to Kyoto. Even the food they made for us is amazing. Not like regular hotel breakfast.
