Great accommodation with a pleasant location. The three of us with a baby were there for 6 nights. The room was finally big enough to open the suitcase. There is tea and coffee in the lobby, perfect for a first breakfast.

Large rooms and with everything available, everything worksAdequate service, always with staff available at reception and with some "gifts" for party fans😁Good location, although for me I was using the train, closer proximity would make a difference in the many days I was staying, but nothing dramatic and it has the advantage that at night it looks like a peaceful village

The hotel or holiday apartment is very new. The staff was super friendly and helpful. In the evening there was free whiskey and snacks at reception. The room I had was very large by Japanese standards and with a French. Equipped with a double bed. The kitchen was brilliant. The lounge in the foyer was equipped with everything you need. I particularly liked the manga shelf. The manga were free to borrow. It takes about 10 minutes to walk from the nearest train station. There are some great restaurants and a Starbucks on the short route. The Kyoto Aquarium is also very close.Overall, this was the best stay of my 3 week trip to Japan.

It was a new, clean building, and the hotel seemed to be cutting down on labor costs as much as possible with the rooms. No private parking lot, affiliated? Even though I parked in a coin parking lot, it was ¥900 until the next morning. Exclusively for card affiliated sales? The cost performance was good, and I was able to stay overnight on the spacious 1st floor without meals. The central market is right next to it, so there are many ways to enjoy it. Once I got to the main street, I took the bus to Kyoto Station, which took about 3 stops, and I ended up getting home late and missing out on the free whiskey tasting. It was a charming inn that made me want to visit again in many ways.

When I booked two separate rooms for my parents, I had to wait at the front desk for two hours due to double booking, and my parents were unable to stay. Although the name of the person making the reservation was given at check-in, when the room key was handed over, the name of the guest changed to someone else, and due to an error in the hotel's system, the guest was kept waiting for two hours and refused accommodation. There was no Japanese person at the front desk, so it was difficult to communicate in Japanese. When I asked for the manager to complain, a Chinese woman came out and when I spoke to her, she said it was her first day at work. When I said I would talk to a more senior president, a Korean answered the phone. The Korean manager lacks the culture of Japanese hospitality and apologies to customers, and has no apologies or countermeasures. It is also unpleasant that the hotel management mistakenly uses honorific language towards the employees (since both are foreigners), and since both parties speak in Japanese, which is their second foreign language, they are unable to communicate. , I, the customer, had to step in and translate. It was a shocking experience. Even when making accommodation reservations, the reservation is not confirmed unless you reply to the email after making the reservation, and if you press the reply button from your mobile phone, you cannot reply. When I set the address written in the reservation email on Maps, I arrived at an old mansion in a completely different neighborhood. Towels were not changed every day, so I asked at the front desk and received new towels. There was brown hair in the toilet, and the children who stayed there complained that it was dirty. The smell in the room was also bad. Even though it was spring, I was using a winter comforter, and when I slept on it, I was drenched in sweat. I hadn't cleaned the air conditioner's filter, and dust flew into the room, making my children's throats hurt and they catch colds. When I asked for a taxi at the front desk, I was told that there was no such service. It was a hotel that often did not fit the common sense of Japanese people. It's a shame that a hotel like this exists in Kyoto, a representative center of Japanese culture. It is true that the name of the hotel was not a Japanese idea. The good points were that the employees lent me a cell phone charger and a thermometer for my child who had a cold, and made me coffee when I was having trouble with double booking. The employees aren't bad, but there seemed to be a problem with the management and the call center person in charge of making reservations. The three types of rock salt used in the bath, Himalayan, French, and Australian, were unusual. It was also my first time to experience 4 types of free whiskey at night.

Very good hotel. The staff is very welcoming. Free coffee is a good treat when you arrive. Free whiskey at night. The room is very comfy : the beds are very confortable. Near bus stop and train station. Park not to far also. I highly recommend this place to stay in Kyoto. Good ratio from quality to price.
