I stayed here because I like Nishi Honganji Temple and was sightseeing in Shinsengumi.I am grateful to be able to stay in a Japanese-style room when traveling alone. The room was clean and made me feel at home!I was also able to participate in the morning service at Nishi Honganji Temple!I was also satisfied that I was able to stay a stone’s throw from Nishi Honganji, the sacred place of the Shinsengumi☺

During the summer vacation, you can stay in the middle of Kyoto at an unbeatable price with free parking.The room is spacious, clean, and I have nothing to say.I'm not a believer, but it's definitely Honganji's lodge! I was able to stay with peace of mind.

.Kyoto tripToday’s destination is Kinkakuji. Head to Kinkakuji from the APA Hotel in front of Kyoto Station next to Kyoto Station. It was raining slightly when we set off. We first passed Nishi Honganji Temple. When we reached Nishi Honganji Temple, the rain stopped. We walked around Nishi Honganji Temple and then moved forward. After passing an intersection, we saw cherry blossoms in the flower garden in front of the building. The trees were in full bloom, and the gusts of wind whipped up by the bus passing by on the road blew the cherry blossom trees in full bloom, blowing off the carpet of cherry blossom petals. The road was bustling with people, but here it seemed like a quiet world. During this period, I met an old couple by chance and left a beautiful scene for them under the cherry blossom trees.When I was sorting through photos recently, I searched on Google Maps and found out that the building was a hotel called "Honganji Temple Buddhist Hall". I will have the opportunity to visit Kyoto in the future and find time to revisit the old place.

Since the day was ruined by the rain, I suddenly decided to stay another night and found this place. It was right next to a temple and very quiet. There is also a convenience store nearby, which is convenient. Breakfast was a good buffet and included Kyoto-style obanzai.

I used it during the high season in March. I had a set schedule, so I made a reservation in January. Considering the prices of other accommodations at the same time, this is an exceptional price.The facilities are a little dated and some parts feel old, but they are all well-maintained and comfortable. The baths and dining room inside the hotel are also perfect.If you want a late night snack or drinks, there's a convenience store nearby, and the location is perfect, including the proximity to tourist spots.Next time I have something to do around Kyoto Station, I would definitely use them again.

This is a facility of the Jodo Shinshu Honganji school (Nishi Honganji).In addition to training rooms, there are accommodation facilities, restaurants, and shops. In particular, the shop sells not only souvenirs, but also scriptures and Buddhist utensils.

It is very inconvenient that there is no outlet next to the bed. Wi-Fi was public Wi-Fi and almost impossible to connect. The room wear is a yukata. There is a jet bath in the large public bath, but it is open from 16:00 to 21:30 (T.T.) There is no morning bath either. Payment is due at check-out, so it gets crowded at 10am.If you compare it with the current hotel situation, it will be very inconvenient.However, it may be worth taking that into account and choosing this hotel based on the spacious wheelchair-accessible room, accommodation costs, and location.There is also a Keihan bus that stops in front of Monpo Kaikan.

Used by a family of 5. Free parking was appreciated as we were traveling by car. You can park your car until the evening after checking out, which is convenient for sightseeing around the city. I used the basement dining room for both dinner and breakfast and was satisfied. I would like to use it again when traveling to Kyoto.

I walked there for 20 minutes from Kyoto Station.There is a free parking lot, so it is convenient even if you come by car. The building is old, but the lobby isIt feels clean.Since the plan doesn't include dinner, it's about a 10 minute walk to eat outside.I went to Miyako Shokudo.Cheap and delicious in an old-fashioned restaurantRecommended.I stayed in a Japanese style room.Only one thin mattressMy lower back hurts.The breakfast buffet has a small variety.

I used it on a family trip.Although it is located near Kyoto Station, it is good that there is a free parking lot.I could see Kyoto Tower from my room.Unfortunately, the air conditioner could not be adjusted in detail, so the room was quite dry, and the mattress was quite thin.The Japanese restaurant chain ``Ganko'' is located on the basement floor of the hotel, and you can also enjoy the breakfast buffet there.Although it is not very close to the hotel, there are convenience stores and a 24-hour supermarket within walking distance.The public bath closes early until 10pm.Since I was staying at a ryokan at Nishi Honganji Temple, I wanted to hear a sermon from a high priest, but the timing didn't allow me to do so.It seems that a sermon is held on the first floor at a fixed time every day.

The room was old but clean.The toilet and bath are old, but I think they have been cleaned.I think it's clear whether you like the room or not...but it was a decent room for staying with children.However, I gave it 4 stars because the breakfast buffet was delicious.There were some very gluttonous customers who just took their miso soup instead of waiting in line.Miso soup seems to be spilled a lot, and two elderly people spilled it while I was in line.However, some elderly people were putting the miso soup on the tray diagonally, so I think that was the cause.The staff quickly cleaned up the miso soup and took care of it without making a disgusted face. That's kind of you.The miso soup had a strong red soup stock and was very delicious.I went for breakfast at 7am and there was a line.
