I chose this inn when I was in Kyoto for the first time. It feels like a hideaway, and the owner was very friendly and kindly recommended it to me. There were no other guests, so we had a special stay that felt like we had it privately. I was able to sleep in a room with a small garden and had a pleasant time. I'm really thankful to you.The interior is cute too~

After staying for one night at the end of 2023, it was so comfortable that I stayed for another night on New Year's Day 2024 😊The landlady's handmade zoni, available only on the first three days of the New Year, warms your heart (and your stomach as well) 🤤❤️Enjoy your trip with fluffy futons, a high quality public bath (Hinodeyu) nearby, within walking distance of Toji Temple, near PiPPA station, and the hospitality of the couple! 😆✨I would definitely like to visit again. Thank you very much 😊

It's a little walk from the station.Towels and bath towels were rented, and toothbrushes were purchased.The interior looks so cute!It was comfortable.

According to the owner, ``A hideaway for adults'' I think that's the perfect word for this inn 😊First of all, even though it's within walking distance from Kyoto Station, it's really dark at night! I was surprised at how quiet it was✨As mentioned in other comments, the bedding such as futons is of high quality and you can sleep soundly.For sightseeing in Kyoto, Toji Temple is nearby, and if you take the 207 bus from Toji-mae bus stop, you can go from central Kyoto (Shijo Kawara) to Higashiyama (Kiyomizu-dera Temple), which is very convenient.*On the other hand, if you go drinking at night in the Shijo Kawara area and come back, you only need to take the 207 line, so it's easy.Also, you can go to Omron head office in about 10 minutes on foot, and if you use the bus stop in front of it called "Shimogyo Ward Sogochosha-mae", you can take a bus to many places such as Kozanji Temple.As you can see in the photo attached, there is a place where you can rent bicycles as soon as you walk along the road south of the inn!The owner is a nice person, and it has been renovated and is very clean, so I highly recommend it.I stayed in a room with a courtyard on the first floor, but the lights in the courtyard could not be turned off, so it remained bright all night. I was curious about that. (Even with the blackout curtains, there was some leakage...)Also, since the door to the room was a sliding shoji door, I was concerned about the light from the common area coming into the room until the lights were completely turned off at 23:30.If that point is improved...there won't be any weaknesses anymore!

I went with a friend who had a lot of luggage, so the stairs to the second floor were a bit difficult, but other than that, the room was clean and had an old-fashioned atmosphere, bunk beds, and a relaxing chabudai.It was helpful to be informed before our stay that the coin lockers at the station could not be used.I wanted to do zazen meditation at Toji Temple if I had time.

The owner and his wife are very nice and it's clean.It is an impeccable accommodation 😆It was so comfortable that I ended up staying an extra night✨There are no restaurants nearby, so shopping and eating are not possible.It is recommended that you check in after finishing your work👍Rental of public bath sets (shampoo, etc.)It’s the best♨️It would be even more convenient if you could rent a bicycle 🚲

Stayed in a single room (?) with a garden.It was modernly renovated while retaining the traditional townhouse feel, and it was very comfortable.The handmade garden is so cute...The owner is very friendly and will tell you about recommended spots.It was a good trip (^^)

A perfect accommodation.The TV is in the shared living room, so if you want to watch TV you have to go there, and if you don't like having someone in a separate room living there, you might not want to stay there.The shower room is on the second floor, but you can also take a tour of the public bath outside.There are fluffy futons, clean restrooms, and a latte machine so you can drink coffee.The owner is a wonderful person, and I support him.

You can get there in about 10 minutes from Kyoto Station without getting lost.The accommodation is affordable and the location is great! Highly recommended!
