Amazing experience as this guesthouse is deep into the mountains. You can come here for the feeling of peace and relaxation. The quintessence of this area is unique, so peaceful, yet beautiful in its unique way.Jiro and I met 8 years ago in Taiwan. I was so excited to see him again during my trip in Japan. To see how he has grown as a family man and a traveler. I'm sure you can share stories with him.Bring food. Bring curry. Bring your family. Stay at least 2 nights. Cook in the traditional stove. Breathe the fresh air. Enjoy the sound of rivers. And don't forget to enjoy the moment.

This private lodging is located near Okuyame Bonfire Forest Camp Field, where you can stay in a cozy atmosphere. Meals are not included and you must prepare your own meals, but the owners, who have traveled the world and are fluent in English, will happily serve you by showing you movies on a projector and serving you miso soup. surely!

I stayed there for a long time with my family for one month. This is a very quiet old folk house guesthouse deep in the mountains.I was thinking of letting my asthmatic child spend time in a place with good air, and this was the right choice. It was a very quiet place, you could see the stars at night, and even though it was late June, you could even see a few fireflies.I also have fond memories of making curry and other dishes in the stove and sharing them with the guests staying with me.I would like to go again at a different time.thank you very much.

I stay here every year in June and July. Hydrangeas, fireflies, sunsets, rice terraces, old folk houses, waterfalls, starry skies, tea plantations, and the owner Mr. Sakamoto's family and Kojiro. All are fascinating! We also have many customers from overseas, so it's nice to be able to experience the feeling of traveling overseas.

It was the most satisfying accommodation in Japan. It's a pity that I wasn't able to spend much time with the extraordinary owner, but I felt great comfort from the peacefulness of the scenery and building.

Chai and Jiro are very welcoming, and their home, a traditional renovated Japanese house, is perfect for taking a break from the cities. I was lucky to be part of the tea harvesting, so I could see almost the whole process for producing tea!
