Decent room but the check in was a nightmare. Waited 1 hr just for our turn to check in. 2 groups in front all have problems. Mind you that it was 2 japanese groups.. even the japanese have problems checking in let alone foreigners. Remember to have all your log in ID and password beforehand. Anyway I don't think I will be staying again. Not worth the hassle.

The room is not big and the bed is a bit hard. But it is quite comfortable. There is a parking space at the door, but you have to pay. There are refrigerators, ovens and washing machines. The price is very affordable and suitable for self-guided travelers by car

The hotel is clean and unmanned, and payments and Q&A can be done via chat. There is no waste. There is a bakery nearby, so breakfast is also OK.

I had a bit of trouble checking in over the phone, but the person in charge could speak Korean… please refer to this. Parking is less expensive in the building next door.

Four picky, well-traveled women in their 50s stayed for two days.  It was my first time at an unmanned hotel, and although it was a bit stuttering, I checked in smoothly and without any worries.I chose this place for 4 people to stay in one room. The hotel condition was very clean, and I liked that it had two sinks, a sofa, and a table spread out quite widely. There were plenty of towels, which I was worried about, but they were too hot to be warm. The shower room was spacious and I especially liked the large trash can.It was quiet because it was in a residential area, and the hotel was also quiet. It's about a 15-minute walk from the station, close to the main street where you can take the tram, and Meganebashi Bridge. I walked around all of Hamamachi Arcade. The Shooken main branch was also near my accommodation, so I also used the cafe. I also recommend visiting Suwa Shrine in front of the accommodation. It was everyone's first time in Nagasaki, and although it was far from Fukuoka Airport and the sudden cold and snowstorm, it was a great city. Everyone was friendly and the food in all the restaurants I went into was delicious and not salty. I was in Nagasaki for two days, but it was a city so big that I couldn't go to all the places I wanted to eat and do all the things I wanted to do, and it was a city I wanted to stay in longer.Next time I come with my family, I will use it again.

Stayed there in October of 2023. Everything from check in to checkout is self-service. No staff available onsite, however it's quite simple and straightforward. If you have any issues with your room, you can communicate with the management via a wall-unit that has a messaging function (well responsive). The property seems new. The room is clean, well equipped, spacious. Property is about 10 mins walk to the Sakuramachi tram station and about 25 mins walk to the Nagasaki Station and airport bus terminal. Be prepared to climb a slight hill to get to the hotel.

As with any Grand Base, I think part of the reason it charges less is because there is very little service. Checking in is straightforward but more involved (read lots of steps you have to do yourself)The room itself is okay, clean and somewhat spacious. The bathrooms have the basic amenities. The beds and pillows are comfortable. The reason I wouldn’t give it a 5 star is because there was a cockroach outside our room! That was super scary!!!
