Visited there for lunch. The location is quite nice. By the seaside. Nice view. It is also an onsen hotel.Lunch was good. Soup was tasty and had various items in there. It was also not overly salty. A good meal after a long coach journey.

Visited the shop of the onsen as part of the trip to the castle. Nice gift shop with different styles of snacks, souvenirs, unfortunately did not have the time to stay or use the onsen.

I came here using the expressway and toll road from Kitakyushu City. I made a reservation because the photo looked like a nice view bath with a view of the ocean, but I was glad that they allowed me to change the date twice due to weather. We had to get off the mountain for a fee, so it was quite strenuous and my wife was in a bad mood, but when we finally arrived and took a bath in the hot springs, the water was just right and the weather was cloudy, so the scenery wasn't that good, but we were exhausted, and we went to the restaurant for dinner. I was surprised at how luxurious and voluminous the food was for the price of my stay. I forgot to take a photo, but there was a small pot of pork and vegetables, octopus kamameshi, lots of sashimi, scallops, a small side dish, seaweed salad, and fried fish paste. It was really delicious. The grapes for dessert were cut into pieces and were easy to eat. With so many dishes to choose from, I couldn't help but ask the woman at the restaurant for rice balls 🍙 for my midnight snack, and she served me a large rice ball with pickles and seaweed. Thank you for making my wife feel better.

I stayed at the Hara Castle Inn, so I did not stay here. The castle had a coupon ticket for this hot spring, so I used it.The front desk, or rather the receptionist, was unmotivated and just stood there. I didn't know if I should hand over the coupon or if it would be collected at the bath entrance, so I went straight to the bath and took a bath.Anyway, the bathhouse is quite good. I could see the sea outside and the hot water was warm and relaxing.

I have used this restaurant many times for lunches and banquets, and this time I thought I would have lunch at the restaurant with family I hadn't seen in a long time, but it was not possible to reserve seats (well, that's not possible). There is no children's lunch on the menu.Since I have an infant, I asked if they had udon as a separate item, and they said no (but they did have champon).I asked if it was OK to bring it in, and was told not to.This restaurant is not suitable for families with small children. It's a shame because the taste is said to be delicious. There are set meals available, so I think you can use it if your child is around elementary school age.

From the bathhouse, you can see a panoramic view of Mt. Unzen Fugendake and the horizon that connects to Kumamoto. The view is especially spectacular in the evening. You can see the coastline from the free tatami seating area, and after bathing, you can rehydrate while looking at the spectacular view.

I used the hot springs for a day trip. It's quiet and has a great view, right in front of the sea. There is no open-air bath, but there is a sauna, hot spring bath, and jacuzzi. The rest area is spacious and you can relax.

I always come here whenever I come to this area. There aren't that many people and it's very relaxing. It is also used by people staying overnight, so it is empty during the day.It was nice to be able to see the ocean from the bath. The price was 700 yen for lunch and 500 yen for dinner for adults. Children: 200 yen.It is near the ruins of Hara Castle, a world heritage site.

The room was a Japanese-Western room, but it was spacious, renovated, and clean. It's a quiet placeThe ocean is right in front of you, so it's relaxing. For dinner, add some tempura in advance.I got so much food that I couldn't eat it, and I was full. There are many items in the morning, and it is cheap at this price.
