I went there with high expectations since it seemed to be a high class place, but the results were disappointing. The room was not cleaned at all. It's full of dust. When it comes to food, there's a lot of Chinese people talking and the environment is very bad.As for the staff, even though there was a line, they didn't pay any attention to the person who came in from the side, and just served customers first. The bottom of the open-air bath is rough and hurts the soles of my feet, and the bath is small. The only activity I liked was making moss balls.I can't recommend this place.

We stayed for two nights and it was an absolute dream. We booked the free shuttle from Shin-Aomori station, this was really simple and very comfortable. We booked direct with the hotel so had access to the website login for booking shuttles, meal times and activities. The public spaces in the hotel are beautiful, peaceful and really comfortable. Welcome drinks in the lobby were lovely and different each night. The public baths / onsen are stunning, especially the outside bath (it's not obvious from the website, but both the men's and women's onsen have indoor and outdoor baths at the hotel). We did the gourd lamp workshop which was simple and fun. You get a lamp base to take home, and they check which country you're from to give you the right socket (they gave us a USB plug). Our room was really clean, the beds were very comfortable, and we were provided plenty of towels, slippers, and room wear to wear around the hotel (not a yukata, a pair of loose trousers and a long tunic style top - very comfy and it even fits my friend who is over 6 foot tall). The buffet for dinner and breakfast was outstanding, honestly the best hotel buffet I've ever had. I think I consumed apples in about 25 different ways during our stay!Overall, we were a little worried that the hotel wouldn't be worth the price, as it looks amazing but it was definitely the most expensive accomodation on our trip. But it was worth every penny, we were so happy and relaxed the whole time. All the staff were friendly and helpful, and they also had a very high level of English speaking compared to other hotels I've been to in Japan.

Stayed here for three days and two nights, very comfortable! It is very close to the stream. After a day of hiking, you can take a bath and rest. You can also eat delicious food in the evening. The fatigue of the day disappears without a trace. I really like and appreciate all the services and carefully planned experiences here!Highly recommend the bonfire in the lobby and breakfast by the stream in the evening, it is unforgettable!
