Two disappointing points. 1. Even though it's this time of year, there are a tremendous amount of stink bugs. They get into cars and bags. I looked at them very carefully and withdrew them, but when I returned, I found them and killed eight of them. Is it intentional that no one mentions stink bugs in such a place? Or did they actually not exist? Anyway, it was unexpected. Location is good. The toilet is being renovated, so a portable toilet has been prepared, but a large number of stink bugs have gotten into the small room. What comes out is also withdrawn. The kitchen was also full of living stink bugs and their corpses. It is said that they disappear when it gets cold. 2. The road to the site is very narrow. If you enter from Miyako, the road is almost one lane for about 8km. I get scared when there is an oncoming car. On the way back, I took the forest road over the mountains on the opposite side. Although it is a bit far, I recommend turning left on the way to the roadside station. There are waterside sites, grassy sites, and forest sites, and it's cheap, and the campground itself is attractive, but considering the stink bugs and the road, I don't think I'll go there again.Oh yeah, you can't use smartphones other than Docomo. If something happens, you have no choice but to go to the administration building, but please be careful as there may not be a manager there.

Available from October 3 to 5, 2024. The area around the administration building is under construction, and the only toilets available are portable toilets for construction sites. It's smelly and unpleasant. If I had known in advance, I would not have gone. I can't even connect to Wi-Fi. The construction period should be made public! It's a shame because the manager was kind! !

It was a good campsite with a low price of 520 yen. Many people chose to sit along the river, but the sound of running water was too loud for me and I couldn't sleep, so I chose a spot a little further away with a wide grassy area. The free Wi-Fi was usable, but it was unstable, and if there were many users connected, it seemed impossible to stay connected for a long time.

Taimagura campsiteI like to ride my bike on tough roads, so I accessed it from the west side of Prefectural Route 25. (Motorcycles are not regulated as private cars)The road is narrow and slippery, so you need to be careful, but it felt like driving through the forest.Campsite registration is available at Hayachine SansoYou can buy firewood, beer, lemon high, and cup noodles.By the way, the firewood was of very good quality. The site is quite large, with grass on the upper level and gravel along the river on the lower level.Reservations are not required, so you can check in whenever Hayachine Sanso is open.As of September 2023, au and SoftBank are out of range for mobile phones.I don't have Docomo so I don't know.Wi-Fi is available at Hayachine Sanso and the campsite management building. However, I couldn't pick up the signal unless I was quite close. It's also perfect for digital detox. You have to take your trash home with you, but they also seem to buy it for you.Quite deep in the mountains with no cell phone reception, be careful of wild animals, campsite along a riverIf this appeals to you, I think this is the perfect campsite. If I lived in Iwate, I would definitely make it my base campsite.

I have used it several times for day camps and overnight camps. First of all, the manager of this campground is very kind. Everyone I met at this campsite was so kind. Thanks to you, I always have a fun and comfortable time. The toilets and water fountains are well maintained and clean. You can connect to Wi-Fi where there is a toilet. Showers are available for 300 yen. The books and cats in the mountain hut are also wonderful. Also, the road from the Miyako area to the campsite is narrow, so large cars may have trouble passing each other, and there are no stores nearby, so it can be difficult to buy extra supplies. But I will go again! ! ! I'm looking forward to camping at Taimagura campsite next time.
