- super friendly reception with much better English than usual in Japan. Very helpful, we got good tips for stuff to do nearby.- beds are cozy and clean, the overall feel of the building is well maintained and a mixture of elegance and practicality- quiet on a Saturday in the summer, might be different in other days though- overall great experience

First of all: I was in the very fortunate situation of having the female dorm to myself for 3/4 nights, so I slept better than I had for months.Apart from that: extremely comfortable hostel. The beds are very comfortable (2 pillows of different firmness levels), a lamp (option of cold or warm light), power socket, two hooks, coat hangers, some storage space, a curtain that hardly lets any light through. There are also more shelves in the room, small wooden shelves and lockers, even more hooks...The cleanliness was outstanding and in the bathroom there were small utensils such as cotton buds, cotton wool, earplugs...shampoo, soap and conditioner were also provided. The check-in and check-out process was smooth, there was a little paper with all the important information summarised - fantastic! Very well organised. There is a kind of lounge upstairs, but the café downstairs can also be used. However, you should order a drink or similar during opening hours, which I think is absolutely fair. Outside of opening hours, you can eat and drink your own food and drink there.Loved it, one of the best accommodations in Japan for me so far (after 6 months..!)

I tried it.The rooms are divided into rooms that receive light and rooms that do not receive light. It seemed empty that day, so I honestly wanted a room with a bright side.I would have liked to see more consideration and service.Thank you.

3650¥ and more than worth it. (Mind you, what I paid was with a group booking for 6, and I'm not sure if it might be slightly higher if booking for less people). It's quite nice despite the small space. Good for spending a single night or a few days. The bed spaces are small but not so cramped that it feels uncomfortable- instead it feels homey with the wood and warm lighting. There are also two lighting options inside the bunk, a warmer light and a more blue light option. There are 3 plugs in the bunk, (the fourth being taken by the light.)Wouldn't recommend for elderly (unless they're comparatively spritely) or others who might have trouble getting into the bunks - there's some near the floor but some use ladders as well to get up. It's not a tight fit by any means, but still requires a minimal level of effort (which I could see being hard on those with difficulty moving).Don't try to book one bunk for two people, even for children- it really only fits just one person.
