I can't set the air conditioner, so I only have the heating, and I can't open the windows to prevent people from jumping, so I don't understand why it's cooler in the hallway.

Awesome hotel right down town and 15 minute walk from the train station. It’s a small room but you know this by booking the Apa chain.Front desk staff are so nice

I was a solo female traveler and stayed for 3 nights and 4 days. The customer service was good, and the bedrooms were beautifully renovated. However, the bath and toilet are old and small.Especially the bathtub is narrow and small. It's about the same size as a bathtub in a housing complex half a century ago.So instead of soaking in the bathtub, I spent all three nights in the shower.I know that many hotels have vacant stores, butWhen renovating a hotel with the previous name to an APA hotelI thought the unit bath should also be updated.

I stayed at APA Hotel Aomori Ekihigashi for three nights and my stay waa nice. The hotel is fine, is very well-located. It is about a 5 minute walk from Aomori station, and some of the main attractions are very close (the products center, A-factory, and the Nebuta museum are all about 3 minutes walking distance from the hotel). The staff is very polite too. However, the first day that I came in the hotel was reeking of cigarette smell. Even my room, which was on a non-smoking floor was full of cigarette smell. The problem didn't occur on the same day, and slightly on the third. I kept opening my window everytime I step out for air circulation. The rooms are fine. Mine was slightly smaller than other rooms I had in Japan but it was still a nice room with everything you may want to use (kettle, refrigerator, large tv).

APA has good amenities. However, the bed sinks around the waist, making it difficult for people with back pain.Unfortunately, this didn't happen at the two apartments in Hachioji.

Even though it is an APA brand, the facilities and equipment are too old...It seems like there are some problems, like the hair dryer attachment is broken or something like that. The parking lot is small, so if you are not confident in driving, it is better to park at a nearby coin parking lot. It's 700 yen per night, so it's not much different from the surrounding area.
