There are no public bathhouses around here, so it's nice to go there once in a while. It's not a natural hot spring, but 500 yen is cheap. Maybe it's crowded on weekends?Added on 2024/09/23The shower was clean and normally warm.

This health land in Kuji City is famous for being the setting for the 2013 morning drama Ama-chan. However, the atmosphere does not seem like a health resort where you can stay overnight. It seems that local people often visit this hot spring facility for day trips. The nap room has disappeared and a new capsule hotel-like room has been built. I'm glad that the open-air bath is back (2022 information). Previously, like other health lands, it was a facility where you slept in a nap room with reclining chairs. I continued to visit the areas affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake for 10 years starting in 2013, and I always stayed here. The first time I visited in 2013 was by bike. Running into this place drenched in the rain is both a bitter and nostalgic memory. The inside of the building looks quite old, but I like facilities with a retro feel. For some reason, I find it very calming. I wonder when this health land opened. As a health land built on a hill in Kuji City, the view is spectacular. From the landing of the stairs, you can see Kuji City lit up at night. I looked forward to seeing that scene every year. There are no red carpeted stairs, Parthenon-style handrails, or chandeliers like in other retro-style health lands, so it's a rather plain health land, but it's a relaxing facility with a wood-burning stove in the lobby.By the way, how long has the soft serve ice cream shop near the entrance been open? ? They probably aren't selling anything right now.A trip to the Tohoku disaster area made many memories. The time spent here is also a precious and fun memory. I wish I could go again.

It said that the shower temperature was low, so I wondered if there would be warm water at all, but the shower only gave water, and there was no explanation. When I went back the next day, the same notice was still there, so there was no point in going to a hot spring.

There was a sign at the entrance stating that the shower temperature was low.Even if you ask the staff, they won't give you any explanation other than asking them to resign. The usage fee remains ¥500.I went in and it was just like that. The quality of the water is hot springs, but if you use soap, your body will not get slimy.
