I used it for a day trip. I think the day trip fee of 500 yen is cheap. It's convenient because it's near Ryusendo Cave.

Due to the influence of the typhoon, the water from Ryusendo Cave, the main part of the cave, could not overflow.Although it feels old, I am satisfied with the bathroom, food, and room.

The food is carefully prepared using local ingredients and is very delicious without being too salty. I was very satisfied with the buffet of Iwaizumi yogurt and milk for breakfast. A thoughtfully designed inn with the best value for money.

It really feels like a hotel in a local tourist spot. There was a smell in the hallway of the smoking room. There was no problem in the room as it was strictly prohibited to smoke. I was very grateful for that.As for the bath, the women's bath at night is a steam bath and there is no cold bath. In the morning, there is a dry sauna and a cold bath. Both are good and bad, but I would like them to try harder.Breakfast was like a semi-buffet, with fixed side dishes and free choice of salad, natto, seaweed, etc. The only downside was that the grilled fish was not so good since it was close to the sea. But when I think about making ends meet, I think it can't be helped. There was a microwave near the front desk, so I was able to heat up the dinner I brought in.This hotel is typical of rural Japan, in a good sense of the word.

Went for day onsen / bath only. Slightly expensive of Y500 per person, but it was the only decent onsen area near the Ryosendo cave.Service was friendly for gaijin and facilities were decent. Don't expect too many people there mainly cause of the price.
