Everything is close and yet quiet.No pressure in the shower but the room was very ok. Price was great and the breakfast was also OK. The location is the right one to experience Bangkok.

I left without getting a refund because of the ants. I made a reservation through Agoda, but since the reservation was non-refundable, I couldn't find a way to get a refund. The hotel told me to process it through the place where I made the reservation.

Good hotel very well located. It needs a renovation, but the staff is friendly, it is next to the river and a 10-minute walk from the royal palace area.

I was very satisfied with my stay, but something very serious happened on the second day. When I came back from outside, I was surprised to see the door open. They were not there to clean and there were no employees present. I immediately called to complain. After investigation by CCTV, they admitted that it was their employees who opened the door. I forgot to close the door, which is fine. The hotel also told me before checking in that it would not enter the room for cleaning unless guests informed me. I really don’t understand why the door was opened. This kind of behavior is really unacceptable. It is too dangerous and scary.

Excellent location! You can catch taxi boats hop on-hop off and see everything you want in Bangkok. It's situated in the old part of the city so you can enjoy walking and tasting local food and drinks, get a great and cheap massage or manicure.

The hotel is on the river. You have a great view. Khaosan Road is within walking distance. It's not far to the pier either. The sights are also easily accessible. You can go to Chatuchak by bus, which stops almost in front of the hotel.

Old and worn out hotel. Really needs a makeover. We had a room that smelled very much of something rotten.But it is centrally located and you can take a swim after a hot day.Better to order a taxi ride elsewhere, the man we had could not drive.

Please do not book ANYTHING from the travel agency they have next to the lobby. I booked a flight back/forth with this agency to a near island but the ticket was actually not available neither issued from them meaning that they did not booked anything after receiving our payment. We spent the whole night and morning at the airport trying to contact them without success and we also tried to ask for help at the hotel itself and they just took off the phone.

very cool and pretty hotel, rooms are good and clean, very comfortable, breakfast is excellent and the view from the breakfast place is really stunning, you have view of the river, but the most important, staff is very polite and professional, this hotel is good choice and it’s not very expensive for the stay in it.

The hotel is located nicely along the river and the swimming pool is good. But that seems to be the only good thing here. In fact nothing seems to work in this hotel.Guest elevator has been broken for god knows how long and my parents had to use the super old elevator in the back that could only cater for 3 people. Room is old and smells mouldy, and bathroom in particular doesn’t smell good. Terrible sound proof (if there is any) so you basically hear anyone walking by and closing their door if you are on the same floor. Sockets are all too loose to hold up a simple plug (and i actually had to move beds around so i can get access to more than one socket). AC at 21 degree can’t make the room cool. There is no toothbrush provided in the bathroom and the explanation we received from the hotel manager was that we could go buy anything we need from the nearby 7/11 (of course we can, why bother providing shampoo and other stuff!).We had dinner at the restaurant one night and generally food was great except for the steamed seabass which we were pretty sure it was over-burnt. However instead of acknowledging this, the hotel manager again gave us the explanation that it was normal.I booked this hotel because i liked the pictures of the terrace with river view (which reflect truly the great views from there) but there are only a few of such rooms and the price is not cheap so you can totally stay somewhere else with better value (the new hotel next door looks good).

I don't want to say good things about this unpretentious hotel so that there is still room for the fourth time I stay there. It's very good for people who don't want to have it. Everything you need in a great area of Bangkok. What else?

I love this place and now I stay every year on my way home. The view of the river is the best part and the balcony on the 6th floor is a real treat. The staff are friendly and helpful. It's clean, quiet, safe and super convenient. I recommend it to all my friends.
