However, I gave it 5 stars because of the owner's way of thinking.

I stayed in the wooden hut, the one that my booking site (agoda) had listed as a room with no shower and bath room. I was surprised that it in fact did had a small shower. The hut itself and the host are awesome! Such a cozy vibe, I wish I could return here with a group of friends! The beds were equipped with really fluffy blankets and there was a room with kotatsu table. The owner even installed a small "shop" with different supplies such as drinks and instant ramen that you can take for 100 yen. Very convenient. You can hear the river as you fall asleep. The only downside I can think of is that there was a wifi password but not clear to what network it belonged to. I tried them all but none of them worked. It was ok for one night. In winter it might get quite cold as the front door isn't completely airtight.

I went at the wrong time. It was very cold. There was a living room (?) on the first floor, and there was a small fan heater, but it didn't warm the room very much. There is a room in the back with a kotatsu and an air conditioner, but the air conditioner is behind a bookshelf, so it's hard to get warm in that room either. The main place to sleep is on the second floor, where futons and beds are provided. There are 2 rooms, one has an air conditioner but the other does not. But they have prepared electric blankets for me so I can handle it...There is a refrigerator (I didn't use it this time) and a water heater, but the breaker tripped. (The owner first explained about the breaker)Face towels and toothbrush sets for the number of people are prepared, and the washroom and shower room are located at the back of the kotatsu room. It feels like a real mountain hut... There's a river in front of the house, so it might have been fun in spring or summer when the temperature was nice! There's nothing around, but there's a convenience store about 5 minutes away by car, and of course there are several hot springs (I don't think it's within walking distance)...supermarkets that are open until around 9 pm. …Recommended for those who want to enjoy nature. Those with walking disabilities may find the steps difficult. The price is extremely cheap!

I stayed here on the last day of touring (3 nights and 4 days) for the first time in 4 years! I was healed by the owner's personality and peaceful atmosphere! Since I couldn't use the shower, I was able to drive to a nearby private hot spring (Sakura no Yu) and enjoy the hot spring at my leisure!B&B with BOOK B and BIKE B, and there were certainly a lot of books 😯 I bought an old house and renovated it myself, and it seems that creating a town where you can continue living is an SDGs! It's a shame that the WiFi connection was a little bad, but sometimes it's nice to have a night without looking at your smartphone! I was very satisfied! I would like to use it again 😁

I stayed alone at B&B Yufu in Shonai-cho, Yufu City for business. The entrance is lined with books...When I checked in, the owner, who was very helpful, told me everything about the neighborhood. The Western-style room is on the first floor, and although it is compact, it has a refrigerator, washroom, and toilet, and the Wi-Fi speed is also good. The Japanese-style room seemed to be on the second floor. There was also a shared shower room, but due to the coronavirus pandemic, they are currently only accepting one group per day, so I was able to use this freely.I also had ``Alpha Rice'', a white rice that can be made with hot or cold water, miso soup, and coffee, and I was completely satisfied.Thank you for all the help you have given me.

While there were still people infected with the coronavirus, we were able to spend a relaxing time as it was reserved for one family. The room was very clean, overlooking the river and in a natural environment, just as I had imagined. We were told that we could get a key from a nearby clothing store and enter a public bath that looked like a hut, but since no one was at the clothing store, we couldn't enter the public bath, so we went to a hot spring that was a few minutes away by car. The surrounding roads are narrow, so you may have to be careful when driving.
