My husband and I used this on a maternity trip before we had a baby.It felt like a hot spring town nestled between the mountains, so it was very calm and the sound of the river flowing was soothing. I thought the sound of the river might be noisy when I heard it outside, but once I entered the inn, it didn't bother me at all, so I was glad.Due to its location, the facility had many steep stairs. It might be difficult for people with bad legs, but the inside of the building was very clean and had a pleasant scent of cypress. There were at least 4 hot springs available for private use without reservations, so it was nice to be able to take our time as a couple. The room also had a small open-air bath, but I was a little disappointed that the hot water didn't come out of the shower, but it didn't bother me too much. The food was really delicious, and I was able to relax at the inn and get rid of my fatigue. I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity!

In the mountains. There may be some people who think that's a good thing because it's a lonely place with nothing around, and there's no excessive customer service, but I didn't like it. moreover….I chose this place because it was rare to eat in my room, and I had the advantage of being able to eat in the open air in my room.I enjoyed the breakfast and dinner served in my room to a certain extent, so I didn't have any issues with that, and I felt that it met a certain standard. The problem is with the open air room. The amount of water in the shower was not at a weak level, but rather weak, like the tears of a sparrow. The open-air bath in the room is so hot that you can't get into it without diluting it with water. The washbasin is an old yellow bucket that looks like something you would find in an old public bathhouse (it says "kerorin" on it), which is rare these days. There was hair on the back, there was hair in the drain, and you could see into the open-air bath from the room, but the glass was too dirty and it was just the worst. As I've said many times before, I chose this place because it has an open-air restaurant and you can eat in your room, so I wanted to relax without leaving my room.Still, I can't forgive that the open-air bath in the room is the worst.I used to sleep on tatami mats with a futon in my room, but the futon was so thin that my back hurt.If you pay with cash, you will have to pay in your room, but if you pay with credit, you will have to go down the stairs to the first floor and pay. After that, he left quietly without seeing me off.By the way, there were no other guests staying that day except me.No, of course. There is no way they would want to use this service again.I will definitely not stay here next time. Finally, for this quality, it is too much to charge nearly 20,000 yen per person. Too expensive. I will never use it again.

Source 60℃The communal open-air bath feels like 45 degrees Celsius. You can adjust the temperature of the bath in your room by yourself. It's the best hot spring.Yupei is a space isolated from the ordinary world. The sound of the river is also soothing. Those who are looking forward to sightseeingChildren may get tired of it quickly.Personally, I like Umaru Ryokan's style of not serving customers more than necessary. The food is also perfect.delicious! If you are looking for excessive customer service, you should choose a top-class hotel in Beppu or Yufu City, which is close to the downtown area (if you look at other people's reviews and get bad reviews, maybe you don't understand Meito Ryokan). and)

I visited with my husband. It was a quiet environment that felt like a hidden hot spring. The bath can be reserved for private use, so I was able to enjoy it slowly 😊Both dinner and breakfast were plentiful and delicious.

I'm a 48-year-old man, and my dinner is just the right amount.Dinner at a ryokan tends to be quite large, but even after drinking two beers, I was still able to eat every last bit of white rice❗️

There are 4 private baths, an open-air bath, and a rock bath, and the rooms were clean and spacious.

There were a lot of stairs and it was quite difficult for me as I have sore muscles.I was disappointed that it was a smaller room, but it was on the river side so it was okay. There were a lot of mosquitoes clinging to the door leading to the bath in the room, so I gave up on taking a bath.I used the stone bath and the large public bath, but the water temperature in the open-air bath was especially high, so I guess they are increasing the turnover rate of the private bath instead of making it longer. The elderly person in the next room was having fun loudly until midnight, so I couldn't sleep at all. I wonder if I can't see my surroundings when I'm fine, and it was really annoying. Next time, I'll consider staying in a separate inn.The futon was surprisingly thin and hard. It's a shame because the fun of staying at a ryokan was sleeping on a fluffy futon. Not enough research. The food is absolutely delicious. The combination of tempura and Bungo beef is so satisfying that it feels heavy. The rice in the bowl was also shiny and fluffy. I received every drop left. The meal was delivered in two parts, so it was very easy to eat. However, the second half was just meat, tempura, rice, pickles, and dessert, so I wanted something refreshing. This is a request, but when you combine Bungo beef with grilled meat sauce, it feels quite oily. I think I would like to have it with Kabosu, grated radish, and salt instead of the sauce.
