I used it for an overnight stay. The hot springs are amazing and it's great to be able to use them 24 hours a day and stay there for a low price. It's difficult to connect to a smartphone, but I think it's a good place to relax.Since you are only staying without meals, I think it would be a good idea to finish your meal or buy something nearby before going. The building is aging, there are no special services, and the location is not particularly good, but I am satisfied with the fact that I can bathe in a high-quality hot spring 24 hours a day.

The owner was an old man (may be you need to call out a little bit loudly to get his attention) but he was very kind (our entrance tickets were just 600yen but he gave us kombu and miso as gift -which was almost that price) . Onsen was very beautiful, blue water with waterfall view. Luckily we came when there was no one so I could see both men and women's onsen

This is a long comment. I would appreciate it if you could read to the end.I love hot springs, and since Oita Prefecture is nearby, I've been to a variety of baths, including large hotels, inns, family baths, large public baths, and rental villas. My current priorities are spring quality, price, customer base, and facilities (in order of preference). There are many good baths, but none that meet my expectations 100%. Something is good and something is dissatisfied. I am now reflecting on how selfish I was to start going to the bathroom here. If you pay a hefty price, you'll be able to relax in new, immaculate, well-maintained facilities with plenty of staff and clean water. There were many baths that were cheap, had good spring quality, and were reasonably clean, but they had too many customers or regular customers imposed local rules on them, and even though they liked the baths, they got traumatized and stopped going. Sanrinkaku is the best. If it were closer, I would like to go there every day. I don't really want to recommend it to anyone. I'd hate it if too many customers came, haha, but I might not be able to accommodate them soon, so I made a comment. I think the husband, who is in his 90s, and the landlady, who is in her 80s, are doing their best to take care of it as best they can. He seemed so healthy that you wouldn't know he was that old. The hot spring bath is 300 yen. The water may be hot or lukewarm, but they seem to be doing their best to adjust the temperature. I'm really grateful. I want to go there as much as possible, so I don't want to put a burden on them, so I take all my trash home with me. Even when it seems like there is no one there, I always put the price in the box. By the way, there are cameras, so it's better if you don't take advantage of the free baths. This is an inn that I would buy if I had the money. Thank you very much for always bathing me. Thank you very much for the miso. It's super delicious! !There are plenty of good hot springs if you don't mind the price, so go for them. This is the best place for me.

I came here because I had gotten lost on the roads surrounding this inn and was curious. First, when I called, a person who appeared to be an elderly woman answered, "We're running a drop-in bath. You're welcome until 6:00 or 7:00." The time seems pretty reasonable. When I arrived, there was no one at the front desk, so I dialed the mobile number that said to call me, but no one answered. When I dialed the first number of the inn, the black phone in front of me rang at an extremely loud volume. An 83-year-old grandma who seemed to have answered the phone three times appeared from the direction of the bathroom. When I said I wanted to take a bath, she asked me to put her in the box over there. Put 300 yen into a paper box that looks like it was made by an elementary school student. I only used the open-air bath, but since it was 5:00 pm on a Sunday, there were no customers. The river in front of me is an artificial waterfall, so it has no atmosphere and is just noisy. I think it would be great if it weren't for that noise, but it seems to be even louder after rain, so it might be best to visit on a sunny day. The two bathtubs at temperatures of 41℃ and 38℃ are also very nice. I would like to visit again during the cold winter months, but I don't feel like staying overnight, and I feel like it would be a waste of time. Every line of movement is dangerous, and I'm worried that if something happens, I'll be sued. The walkways are made of wood, and it is normal for them to rise and fall in places. The steps are slippery, making it dangerous for elderly people to move around the building. If you only want to use the bath, I think the bathing fee of 300 yen is the lowest price in the Kokonoe area, so I think it's good. I think the price was lowered from the previous 500 yen to 300 yen in consideration of the aging of the facility. I think I'll come next time around November of this year.

It has a rustic atmosphere. We relaxed and watched the streams and fireflies. If it's not a waterfall, there are no reviews, but if it's a 2-dan erosion control dam, I'll follow my heart. I'm staying overnight without meals, so I have no comments on the food.
