My stay at Ryokan Asahiya was absolutely delightful. I loved the interior design of my room, the architecture of the ryokan, and it was spotlessly clean.Mutsuko, the owner / manager, was always there for me, went the extra mile to answer any question I had. I would always stay there again and will recommend this to my friends!(Note: I did not try any of their meals and did not have a room with an onsen bath so cannot judge that)

We had a great time staying here. The location was perfect - close to the bus station from the Fukuoka, and beautiful sunrise from the lobby/breakfast area. The host (Nakano san) was very welcoming and helpful. We ate dinner and lunch at places that she recommended and they were so great - not touristy but authentic! The room was very spacious, modern, and comfortable. Loved the private onsen in the patio! Definitely would go back again!

This is the best inn in your life where you can experience hell steaming. The interior of the room was also nice, so I stayed here again. All of the employees are nice people and this is an inn I would like to come back to. thank you very much!

It is a skeleton of an old building with modern specifications. What caught my attention was that・Even though we have two hot springs, I think it's difficult to not be able to use the public bath in the winter (it's a semi-open-air bath environment, so there's no wall on the outside, so it's cold in the winter, including the washing area).・Unfortunately, the room is not barrier-free and there is no portable power source near the bed (despite being called modern, it is not a user-friendly environment).-The refrigerator is small and there are no blackout curtains, so it may be too bright in the summer. Also, I think you can see inside the room at night. On the other hand, the good thing is・The open-air bath was large and nice.・I received a hot spring manju at check-in and a hot spring egg at check-out.・The bed sheets were nice to the touch. It has just been renovated, so there are some problems, but I think it will be improved and become the best accommodation.

Although the hotel location is difficult to find at first, there are actually many buses to the area. The nearby Hell Hot Spring is also quite close. The journey takes about 10-15 minutes. There are also many footbaths nearby. The hotel is beautiful, the environment is beautiful and quiet, and the waiters are very friendly and enthusiastic! The breakfast is very satisfying, very unique, first-class taste and first-class thought! Breakfast style should be determined according to the seasonWhen you check in in very cold weather, you will be given a hot spring steamed bun and hot tea. When you check out, you will also be given 4 hot spring eggs, which is very heartwarming! Hope to have a chance to come again

A couple in their 40s who love to travel came here for sightseeing.Inns in old post towns can be so noisy that you can hear the sounds from the rooms next door. This room does not allow children to stay, there are no other guest rooms on the upper or lower floors, and there is no TV (rental available for those who wish), so it was a quiet stay. The landlady speaks slowly and carefully, and is kind but not excessive. As expected, the water is hot from the source, but the open-air bath in your room isI was able to make it as lukewarm as I like and enjoyed a long bath♪Unfortunately, it was raining lightly, but we had a tarp so it was okay. However, since there is no roof, it would be better to use the public bath when shaking the mud. The public bath was also very comfortable! The rooms are stylish and clean. The amenities are of good quality! The linen of the bedding was very comfortable and the comforter was fluffy and not heavy, making it easy to sleep.I don't like sleeping between the tight, heavy futons and sheets of business hotels, so I was quite relieved here. You can sleep well surrounded by the scent of natural wood. However, the curtains are not light-blocking and it gets bright in the morning, so if you are concerned about that, bring an eye mask.At first, the breakfast seemed like a lot to me, but it had a delicate taste and I was able to finish it all. The presentation and the taste of the utensils were also wonderful. Also, my personal recommendation is the hell steamed pudding! !The convenience store was a little far away, so I thought it would be a good idea to buy some ice cream after taking a bath, but I tried the rare black tea and lemon puddings sold in the building, and tried half a plain pudding. Big hit. Quickie licking with my husband. If it was close to my house, I would have bought it as a souvenir and brought it home. It was really delicious.Overall, I had a comfortable stay at an inn aimed at adults.

【service】The instant coffee provided in the room was delicious and easy to drink. As a coffee fan, being able to drink good coffee in your room is a big plus.I bought it as a souvenir since it was available at the front desk. There are no vending machines or shops inside the building, so I bought some juice from the vending machine at the bus stop next door. It's a little far from convenience stores and supermarkets, so it's better to buy things you need to bring in advance.【meal】Speaking of Jigoku Meguri, it is Jigoku Steamed Pudding.I was captivated by the hellish steamed pudding I ate at Umi Jigoku, and every time I saw it, I was intrigued. Here, I tried a lemon flavor that I had never seen anywhere else. The sauce on top doesn't have the sourness or bitterness you'd expect from lemon, and the pulp is fruity and refreshing. The pudding is rich but not too rich, and has a smooth texture that pairs perfectly with the lemon sauce. I received the hot spring egg, which was also surprisingly delicious. This time I stayed without meals, but it would have been nice to have breakfast included.[Room and hot spring]The room and hot springs are absolutely satisfying! It's expensive, but it's good because you can spend a relaxing time.To be forced to say, the south building where I stayed had everything from the shower (body washing area) to the open-air bath in the room.It was a little far away (when I took a bath, I moved around the room wrapped in a bath towel)If you're embarrassed to wander around the room naked, I recommend the north building.(The north building has a floor plan where the shower and bath are close together.)

I chose this for my girlfriend's birthday trip, and first of all, the room was very stylish and clean. The smell of wood filled the air and was soothing. The open-air bath in the room was great, the food was good, and they even prepared a birthday cake for her, which made her very happy.I heard that it is run by two proprietors, and I was impressed by how polite and kind they were. This is the accommodation I would highly recommend to friends and family when they travel to Oita in the future.Thank you very much.

The curtains are white and the light gets in in the morning, making me wake up early in the morning, so I think it's essential to take measures to block out the light...Other than that I'm satisfied. However, I went to bed at 2 o'clock, and by 5 o'clock it was too bright so I couldn't sleep and was so tired...This was the only problem.
