A wonderful place with private onsen. Kaz is a great host, speaks very good English and is very helpful. We felt very welcome. The ryokan is beautiful and quiet.You can easily walk to Yufuin (15 minutes).If you like hiking, you can hike up to Yufudake, 1580 m above sea level.

It was the best ryokan. The hot springs were really good and the rooms were very nice. The location was a bit far, but they came to pick us up so there was no problem. I recommend buying a lot of food when you go.100% intention to revisit

It's outside the center of Yufuin. I visited by rental car, and there was a parking space next to the accommodation. (Pick-up is also available if you contact us in advance)The owner spoke good English, so it was easy to communicate.There are no restaurants or convenience stores nearby, so you must visit in advance!!The accommodation for two is on the second floor, and the bathroom and hot spring on the first floor can be shared. It wasn't inconvenient because you could make a reservation for a time slot in the evening, but it was inconvenient because you had to use the hot spring in the morning before check-out.The overall atmosphere and hot spring water were very nice :)

First of all, the owner is fluent in English! And they were kind ☺️ The location was disappointing, but it was okay that they came to pick me up at Yufuin Station and took me there. The hot springs are reserved at night, but they are used by one group, so it was private and nice!! The water is so warm and my skin feels soft haha. When you come out of the bath, there is free ice cream in the refrigerator! It was nice to take a walk around the neighborhood in the morning. Although there was no kaiseki, it was still the best accommodation.. 100% intention to visit again.

It takes about 20 to 30 minutes to walk from Yufuin Station.If you don't have a lot of luggage, it's good to walk and enjoy the scenery. And the owner will pick you up for you, so you don't have to worry.If you send it via Instagram DM, they will respond quickly.The room was assigned to the second floor, and the bathroom, sink, and refrigerator were shared.It is inconvenient to have to use the bathroom on the first floor when showering or washing your hair.The bathhouse requires reservations, and you can make a reservation on the board in front of the bathhouse.It was good overall, but the corners of the room had not been cleaned so much that dust was visible. If you are sensitive, it may be difficult.

summation.Friendly owner, best ryokan with reasonable price and value for money, crazy kotatsu, pretty yukataThis is my girlfriend and I's first overseas trip, and we urgently booked our flight two weeks ago.Since we really wanted a traditional Japanese feel, we tried to book a ryokan with a tatami room and a kotatsu... but of course, all the accommodations we wanted were fully booked. So we thought it would be fortunate to find accommodation in Yufuin and tried to book anywhere. I did itAt that time, this place caught my eye.. When I looked at the room details, I saw that it had a kotatsu, tatami mats, and a hot spring. The price was cheap, so I booked it right away.We were constantly worried... It was cheap, but would it be okay? What would we do if the facilities were poor? But we were worried for no reason haha. We were so satisfied and loved it!!!You can use the shared hot spring for a maximum of one hour. You can post the time zone and usage time on the blackboard to avoid other guests.The room we were in also had a private bath, so if we felt in need, we went into the private bath and enjoyed the hot springs.There was a kotatsu and a futon in the tatami room. I thought my back would get tired, but I slept very comfortably.. haha.The interior of the room was well-decorated with a traditional Japanese feel, and more than anything, the owner was really friendly and spoke English well!!The downside is that it is a bit far from Yufuin Station! Still, if you tell the owner, he will come pick you up!! I communicated with the owner via gmail and Agoda message, but other guests said they communicated quickly via DM. I think it would be good to keep this in mind when using the service!!Other than that, I was really satisfied. I plan to visit again next time 999% of the time.

It's a 5-10 minute drive from downtown Yufuin, and I followed the owner on Instagram and kept requesting pick-up and drop-off via DM. He responded right away, and even though it would be a hassle to change the time, he did it all and the ryokan is cute. The surroundings are quiet and I came here on summer vacation with my boyfriend. The hot springs are really nice even in the summer. The open-air bath is amazing.It was better than when I went to a ryokan in Tokyo.The owner speaks English very well, so there is no problem with communication! They were really, really kind. I stayed for two nights in a row and I don't want to go to another ryokan tomorrow. It was so quiet and nice. It doesn't matter if it's far from the city.If the boss takes you, Kinrinko 7 minutes? It takes less than 10 minutes from Yufuin Station. So good !!!!!!! I've had a good rest for two days :) Today is the last night and I'm so happy.This is my first time writing a Google review.. ❤️Boss, please do it again in a few years!
